Demand CS will kill ants that have come into contact with the areas treated with the product but it will not reach the nesting locations. Harvester ants should be left alone if they are not a direct threat or nuisance. They provide food for many animals, and also help distribute grass seed, and are overall beneficial. However, if control becomes necessary, you can easily get rid of harvester ants using the right professional products.Granular ant baits are the best choice to control harvester ants. Nearly any granular ant bait will work, but look for those labeled for use on harvester ants.Products with abamectin, like Advance 375A Select Granular Ant Bait, bifenthrin, like Talstar PL Granules and hydramethylnon, like Maxforce Complete Granular Bait, among many others, will all be effective against harvester ants. Always follow the label instructions carefully, but 2-5 tablespoons of granular bait scattered over the colony’s central opening should be sufficient to control the colony. For non-chemical control, destroy nests and habitat with regular mowing and other lawn maintenance.

There really is not a specific date or temperature (as long as it is above freezing) to apply Demand CS. It can be applied any time the pest(s) you are treating for are active. If you are treating outdoors, you will need to apply every 30-90 days, and every 90 days indoors.
Demand CS a micro-encapsulated product and would give you a 90 day residual. Depending on the pest you are treating for you can may applications monthly if needed. Please refer to the product label for specific applications times.
Demand CS is labeled to eradicate carpenter bees and is great for a surface application and cracks and crevices. We also recommend dusting the holes with an insecticide dust. The Demand CS label does not list butterfiles on the labels, however, to be sure you are not contacting them while applying, apply in the early morning or late evening when bees, butterflies and many other insects are less active in the area.
If it's the area that's fenced off, you can spray Demand CS around the yard and flowers but avoid the blooms or areas where bees and butterflies land so it won't be harmful to them.

When applying ImidaPro 2SC for grub control, it is important to use sufficient water when applying to move the active ingredient through the thatch layer of grass into the soil where the insects will be or are feeding as soon as possible. This is usually an extra 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch of rainfall or irrigation with the application. As long as you do not have excessive rainfall while the application is still wet, and/or the ground is not saturated, then you should have residual activity for several weeks following the application.
To control White grub larvae, (such as Japanese beetle larvae, Chafers, Phyllophaga spp., Asiatic garden beetle, Oriental beetle) apply 0.46 to 0.6 fluid ounces (14 to 17 mL) per 1,000 sq. ft. Make broadcast applications by mixing specified rate in enough water to uniformly cover the treated area. Do not use less than 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. If you plan to clean an area where you are going to spray a residual insecticide such as Demand CS, then it would be best to do your cleaning first and then apply the insecticide. This will not only ensure that you are spraying on the actual suface (rather than on top of dust/debris), but it will also prevent unecessary removal of your insecticide. Mopping or other abrasive cleaning will remove most if not all of your residual, so do these treatments before spraying for best results.

Termidor SC is applied only twice a year on the outside of the home depending on the rate used. Rotating it often with the Demand CS would null the non repellent factor of the Termidor. Most choose to use the Termidor outside and the Demand inside in cracks and crevices. Resistance can take years to build up.
Demand CS would be a great choice for general pest control for common insects found in and around the home. It can be applied every 90 days indoors and every 30 days outdoors. Termidor SC should ONLY be applied once every 6 months directly up against the structure on the exterior of foundation (1 ft up and 1 ft out). You should NOT apply Demand CS in the areas where you apply Termidor SC. Please refer to the product label prior to mixing and applying for complete usage instructions.

Demand CS would be a great choice for spider control as well as general insect control. It is a great choice for indoor and outdoor spider control. Spraying Demand CS will also help to get rid of the other insects (silverfish, sow bugs aka rollie pollies and millipedes) that spiders feed on and that will help to stop new spiders from moving inside. Indoors, spray around all baseboards, door frames, window frames, under appliances, in closets and storage rooms and in areas where utilities enter into the structure. Outdoors you should spray around the bottom of the foundation, on the ground adjacent to the foundation, door frames, window frames and places where the utilities enter into the structure.
