Demon WP (Water-soluble Packets) Insecticide is for crack and crevice and/or spot applications for residual and contact control of Ants, Carpenter Ants, Cockroaches, Crickets, Spiders and certain other insect pests. The Demon WP water soluble packets make mixing and use very easy when used with a 1 gallon compressed air sprayer. (See our selection of sprayers in our “Tools and Sprayers” section). Demon WP is for crack and crevice or spot treatment for residual and contact pest control in, on and around buildings and structures and their immediate surroundings and on modes of transport. Permitted areas of use include, but are not limited to, industrial buildings, houses, apartment buildings, laboratories, buses, greenhouses and the nonfood/feed areas of stores, warehouses, vessels, railcars, trucks, trailers, aircraft (cargo and noncabin areas only), schools, nursing homes, hospitals (non-patient areas), restaurants, hotels and food manufacturing, processing and servicing establishments.
Demon WP Authorized by the USDA for use in inedible product areas in Federally inspected meat, poultry and egg processing plants.
Each foil envelope of Demon WP Insecticide in Water-Soluble Packets contains four water-soluble packets of Demon wettable powder (WP). The foil envelope must be opened for use. Because water-soluble packets readily dissolve in the presence of moisture, do not allow them to get wet before adding to the applicator tank.
Wear dry gloves when handling the water-soluble packets. Handle with care because excessive handling may cause rupture of the water-soluble packet. Unused water-soluble packets should be stored in the original foil envelope, folded over to minimize exposure to moisture.
Demon WP Insecticide in Water-Soluble Packets are intended for dilution with water for applications. For best results, dilution should be achieved if the following steps are taken:
1. Fill applicator tank 1/2 with water.
2. Add desired Demon WP Insecticide in Water-Soluble Packet(s).
3. Allow 1-2 minutes for dissolution of water-soluble packet(s).
4. Agitate, stir or shake applicator tank.
5. Finish filling applicator tank and agitate again before use to ensure satisfactory suspension.
Note:
• Upon standing without agitation for more than 1 hr., the applicator tank should be agitated, stirred or shaken again to achieve satisfactory suspension.
• Make up only amount of application volume as required.
• This product should not be applied with oil.
Tank Mixing
Demon WP in Water-Soluble Packets may be tank mixed with other currently registered pesticides unless expressly prohibited by the product label. A small volume mixing test with the other products is recommended to ensure compatibility. Observe all restrictions and precautions which appear on the labels of these products.
Cockroaches, Spiders, Crickets, Scorpions, Silverfish, Ticks and Firebrats
Apply as a coarse, low pressure treatment to areas where these pests hide, such as baseboards, corners, storage areas, closets, around water pipes, doors and windows, attics and eaves, cabinets, sinks, furnaces, stoves, behind and under refrigerators, the underside of shelves, drawers and similar areas. Pay particular attention to cracks and crevices; also see Outdoor Surface Use.
Ants
Apply Demon WP to any trails, around doors and windows and similar areas where ants (including carpenter ants) may be found. Apply perimeter barrier treatments to prevent infestation as described below; also see Outdoor Surface Use.
Bees, Carpenter Bees and Wasps
Thoroughly treat nest and entrance, surfaces and surrounding areas with Demon WP where these insects alight; also see Outdoor Surface Use.

Excellent product. I have been using Demon WP Insecticide for MANY years mostly for exterior barrier treatment and in and around garages. I was very impressed. I will never forget the first time I used this product. I sprayed a heavy line in front of our 3 car garage which was getting bombarded by all kinds of crawling insects. It created about a 10-12" line on a hot & sunny day and it dried very quickly. I did it a second time thinking it evaporated, again it dried within a few mins. Came home from work the next day and a solid line of dead bugs exactly where I sprayed. Was as if it was an invisible electric fence. At this point I was sold on this and nothing else. I have continued to use it for years without fail. I found it lasts quite a while but depends on how much direct rain the treated surface area gets. Recommend 100%

By George on March 22, 2009"It just works" says it all. I have been using Demon WP Insecticide for 10 years. Forget what you read about multiple applications per year. Maybe outside, but inside, unless you wash or vacuum it away, it lasts forever. I haven't used it in 2 years indoors and it's still killing. I thought, after two years, though, another application couldn't hurt. The first time you use it, when you wake up the next morning, you will be in awe of the dead insects in your house. Just do every base board, even in cabinets and closets and every threshold into your house, garage, carport, etc...threshold exteriors need to be repeated if exposed to the elements. This stuff is the last word in pest control. Don't waste your money on supermarket and building supply store junk and pest control companies that come out and use this same stuff, and bill you $250.

By Kevin on August 28, 2007I have 2 large dogs in my house. Had fleas really bad. I tried every type of bug bomb- Home Depot, Lowes, and Walmart had and it seemed like they multiplied. My parents turned me on to this product Demon WP. I sprayed my baseboards, windows, doors, weep holes in the brick, the entire perimeter of the house, the soffit on the house, and the perimeter of my yard. After all that, I still had 2 pouches left, so I went ahead and sprayed my lawn. I have not seen another live bug in the house for 2 years. I may not have applied it the way I'm supposed to, but this stuff is awesome. Highly recommended.

Great product!! I've been using this product for 2 years and living by the ocean, we have our fair share of palmetto bugs, roaches and every crawly bug known to man. Fastest knock-down
By C.h. on March 4, 2008Demon WP does the best job killing roaches with the fastest knock-down I have ever seen . However, for spiders it doesn't fair so well in my opinion. Only complaint is it leaves a slight stain on wooden floors and baseboards . It keeps killing a long time so re-spraying is only like 4 or 5 times a year . That itself will save you a bundle of money on exterminators.

this stuff works, the powder demon wp is the best preventative/stay gone insecticide I've used and I have used quite a few.. been battling some bugs over 3 years, finally threw some Thomasville furniture away, and I think I finally got rid of 'em now, hope so :) organic pryrethin (PI) works good for spot treatments, bedlam makes good aerosol stuff and it took a mixture of a lot of things to get finally rid of the bugs, but this demon wp is the best (and much more affordable than the others) the packets mix easy in water, no odor.. doesn't stain much and again, this stuff works.. mix it strong (max recommended) and don't be stingy with it spraying, get outa your house for a least 8 hours, and don't walk around barefooted for a couple weeks.. good luck~

A Demon WP is labeled for both indoor and outdoor use. Apply Demon WP to exterior door frames, window frames, places where utilities (cables pipes and wires) enter into the structure, eaves, soffits, around the bottom of the foundation and out onto the ground several feet. If you have an existing insect infestation you may also need to spray indoors around the door frames, window frames, places where utilities (cables, pipes and wires) enter into the structure and around the baseboards. Demon WP will last for about 4 weeks outdoors and about 12 weeks indoors.

ADemon WP does kill adult fleas, but it will not effect flea eggs or other stages. It is always adviseable to mix an IGR (Insect Growth Regulator) with the product you are using. An IGR mixed with Demon WP will help slowdown the reproduction process and yield better results. Precor IGR is our most popular IGR additive and it can be mixed right in the sprayer with the Demon WP and applied at the same time in the same places.

AYou can indeed use 2 packets of Demon WP per gallon of water for indoor/outdoor insect control. You can use the Demand CS one month from the date you applied the Demon WP.

AYou can use them all at once.The Maxforce Magnum should be applied by placing one small pea sized dot every 10-12 inches directly into cracks and crevices around counters, sinks, drawers and cabinets. A Demon WP is not recommended for bird/rodent mites because it is not labeled for mites and also because it can not be broadcast sprayed. Below you will find out best recommendations for bird/rodent mites control: It is important to be absolutely sure you are actually dealing with bird mites. Have the suspected bird mite identified by a reputable source, such as your local cooperative extension office or a reputable pest control operator. Treatments will vary for different pests. Treatment for say bedbugs is much different than the treatment for bird mites. If you do indeed have bird mites, you must first find the source of the infestation, usually a bird nest or a dead bird on or in the home. Removal of the infested nest or bird and a thorough cleanup is necessary. For treatment in the home, we recommend you frequently vacuum all carpet and upholstery and dispose of the bag or vacuum contents in a sealed bag outdoors. Spray Sterifab on couches, chairs and other upholstered furniture where you may spend time resting. Use MotherEarth Dust in all cracks and crevices around the perimeter of the room. Apply a thin coat of MotherEarth dust to rugs and carpets. Rake (not sweep) nap back and forth, causing dust to enter rug or carpet. Let product sit overnight. Repeat application as necessary and vacuum every 3 - 4 days for effective control. MotherEarth dust does not have a fast knockdown, it can take several days for insects to die after they contact the dust. Onslaught can be used for a faster knockdown. Thoroughly apply as a fine particle broadcast spray using a hand pump sprayer to infested rugs and carpets and other cracks and crevices around the perimeter of each room. Put all clothes through the dryer on high heat to help kill mites and their eggs.We have had many customers use the above recommendations with great success. Most customers report that it can take several months to get rid of all of the mites. Finding and removing the source of the infestation is very important and is the key to getting rid of the mites for good.

ADemon WP should be used with 24 hours after it has been diluted with water. There are a couple of reasons for this 1. insecticides will start to degrade if they are left standing in water because of the acid in water 2. Demon WP never truly dissolves in water and it will separate and clog your sprayer. You should also note that leaving liquids standing in your sprayer will void the warranty of most sprayers as most chemicals and even water will corrode the tank, seals and other sprayer parts when sprayer is not properly rinsed between uses.

ADemon WP will kill roaches but it will not kill roach eggs. Insecticides will only kill insects after they have hatched from the eggs. Insecticides cannot penetrate the egg shells. We would recommend using an Insect Growth Regulator such as Gentrol IGR along with the Demon WP as it can make some of the eggs non-viable and it will halt the reproduction of the juvenile roaches.
