Demon WP is only labeled for fleas outside. It is not labeled to treat fleas on the inside of the home or structure. Please click on the link for indoor flea treatment products. It is recommended to mow the lawn 1-2 days prior to treating for fleas. You should perform an application once every 2 weeks. It is also best to apply with an IGR (insect growth regulator) such as Archer.
Yes, Demon WP can be used to treat for millipedes, as long as there are no edible plants in the garden. You may also want to check out our article on How to Get Rid of Millipedes. Millipedes breed in moist areas, so eliminating the environmental conditions that favor their breeding will reduce the population more permanently.
Demon WP is not labeled for bedbugs. We recommend that you read our How to Get Rid of Bed Bugs guide for a better understanding of what needs to be done and what products are needed to be able to get rid of these pests.
Demon WP is an insecticide so it would not be helpful in controlling a mice problem. You can look over our Rodent Control Guide though and that will show you the steps and products needed for eliminating mice in different situations.
Demon WP is labeled for carpenter bees and can be used on trees. This product does leave a residue so be mindful of that.
We generally recommend using Dominion 2L for carpenter ants in trees. This can be used directly on the tree or as a soil drench.

There is not a specific time that's best to apply Demon WP to your yard for fleas. The important thing is just to make sure that you do a thorough treatment around your yard. Mix one packet of Demon WP to one gallon of water and make sure it dissolves completely before you begin spraying. You will need to re-treat every 14 days as needed for flea control. Most folks find they have to do between 2-4 treatments to get rid of the fleas for good. You may want to look over our Flea Treatment Guide for more tips and information.
Demon WP Insecticide comes in an envelope with 4 water soluble packets. You will use 1-2 packets per gallon of water and each finished gallon will cover approximately 1000 sqft.
Demon WP Insecticide should not be mixed with hot water just regular temperature water. It is not a contact kill spray for knocking down wasps. It is labeled for them as a residual application to interior and exterior crevices. We do carry a product that is called Wasp-X. It kills flying stinging insects on contact with a very fast knockdown and kill. Demon WP actually is not labeled to treat for carpet beetles indoors, but it will help to combat a variety of other pests listed on the product label. A great IGR for carpet beetles would be Gentrol IGR. You can mix this concentrate with an insecticide and apply them at the same time. A great choice for insecticide to use with Gentrol as a crack and crevice treatment would be Suspend SC, which is a liquid concentrate. Be sure to vacuum thoroughly and often when treating for carpet beetles to help pick up adults, eggs, and debris that they may feed on such as animal dander.
Demon WP Insecticide will only kill insects after they have hatched from the eggs. Most insecticides cannot penetrate the eggs.
Demon WP Insecticide is not labeled for fruit flies or gnats.
A better option would be Talstar P. This product is labeled for both insects and can be used indoors and outdoors. The residual is 30 days outdoors and 90 days indoors. The mixing rate is 1 fl oz per gallon of water.
Demon WP is good for 3-5 years stored unopened and out of extreme temperatures. The date stamped on the package is the manufacturered/release date so the product woud be good 3-5 years from that date.
Demon WP Insecticide should not be applied to any manure or compost that would be used for edibles.
While Demon WP can be used on sandy soils for fleas, it should not be used alone. We would recommend adding an IGR such as Archer or Nyguard along with it. This will help prevent young flease from maturing into reproducing adults. Wondercide Flea & Tick Control Pets & Home - Lemongrass can actually be used on the kittens regardless of age. It is all natural and non toxic. If this is an indoor barn, then we would recommend using a product labeled for this use such as the Wondercide or Onslaught Insecticide.
When using Demon WP Insecticide you are able to use 1 or 2 packets in a gallon of water.
