    What is the residual of Demon WP for fleas. Is this a good product for fleas?
    A

    Demon WP is only labeled for fleas outside. It is not labeled to treat fleas on the inside of the home or structure. Please click on the link for indoor flea treatment products. It is recommended to mow the lawn 1-2 days prior to treating for fleas. You should perform an application once every 2 weeks. It is also best to apply with an IGR (insect growth regulator) such as Archer.

    After using demon wp in my tank sprayer, does my tank rinse clean with water?
    Can I reuse my tank sprayer on my vegetable garden with appropriate pesticides afterwards?

    You want to do a triple rinse each time after using  Demon WP Insecticideto prevent build up. We would not recommend to use the same sprayer for the veggies.

    Will I need to reapply Demon WP to my carpets when I vacuum?
    I treated my carpets with Demon to help control fleas, etc a few weeks ago. If I vacuum now, will I be vacuuming up all my efforts?

    Demon WP should NOT be applied to carpets for flea treatments. It is only labeled for treating fleas outdoors. We do carry other flea treatment products that can be used on the carpeted areas for treating this insect.

    We have a lot of millipedes in our garden. They come near front door at night. Will Demon WP kill them?
    A

    Yes, Demon WP can be used to treat for millipedes, as long as there are no edible plants in the garden.  You may also want to check out our article on How to Get Rid of Millipedes. Millipedes breed in moist areas, so eliminating the environmental conditions that favor their breeding will reduce the population more permanently.

    Will Demon help any with mice ?
    A

    Demon WP is an insecticide so it would not be helpful in controlling a mice problem. You can look over our Rodent Control Guide though and that will show you the steps and products needed for eliminating mice in different situations.

    Can Demon WP Insecticide be used on a red oak tree open wound infested with carpenter ants?
    A

    Demon WP is labeled for carpenter bees and can be used on trees. This product does leave a residue so be mindful of that.

    We generally recommend using Dominion 2L for carpenter ants in trees. This can be used directly on the tree or as a soil drench.

    What time of the day is the best time to use Demon WP for fleas in the yard and do we add water to soak it down?
    A

    There is not a specific time that's best to apply Demon WP to your yard for fleas.  The important thing is just to make sure that you do a thorough treatment around your yard. Mix one packet of Demon WP to one gallon of water and make sure it dissolves completely before you begin spraying. You will need to re-treat every 14 days as needed for flea control.  Most folks find they have to do between 2-4 treatments to get rid of the fleas for good.     How much area will a pack of Demon WP Insecticide treat?
    A

    Demon WP Insecticide comes in an envelope with 4 water soluble packets.  You will use 1-2 packets per gallon of water and each finished gallon will cover approximately 1000 sqft.

    Can I mix Demon WP with hot water to knock down wasps?
    A

    Demon WP Insecticide should not be mixed with hot water just regular temperature water. It is not a contact kill spray for knocking down wasps. It is labeled for them as a residual application to interior and exterior crevices. We do carry a product that is called Wasp-X. It kills flying stinging insects on contact with a very fast knockdown and kill.     What kind of IGR should I use with Demon WP to treat for carpet beetles?
    I have a carpet beetle infestation and have just started using Demon WP today to help with this issue. Two exterminators have used their products in my home within the past 3 weeks. They claim to have used an IGR but now I'm concerned that I should also use an IGR now that I've taken over handling the exterminating. If so, which kind should I use in conjunction with the Demon WP?

    Demon WP actually is not labeled to treat for carpet beetles indoors, but it will help to combat a variety of other pests listed on the product label. A great IGR for carpet beetles would be Gentrol IGR. You can mix this concentrate with an insecticide and apply them at the same time. A great choice for insecticide to use with Gentrol as a crack and crevice treatment would be Suspend SC, which is a liquid concentrate. Be sure to vacuum thoroughly and often when treating for carpet beetles to help pick up adults, eggs, and debris that they may feed on such as animal dander.

    Will Demon WP kill wolf spider eggs if sprayed directly on the egg sack?

    Demon WP Insecticide will only kill insects after they have hatched from the eggs.  Most insecticides cannot penetrate the eggs.

    Is Demon WP Insecticide effective on fruit flies and gnats?

    Demon WP Insecticide  is not labeled for fruit flies or gnats.

    A better option would be Talstar P. This product is labeled for both insects and can be used indoors and outdoors. The residual is 30 days outdoors and 90 days indoors. The mixing rate is 1 fl oz per gallon of water.

    My package of Demon WP is showing 8/2016 REL date, is this product still good?

    Demon WP is good for 3-5 years stored unopened and out of extreme temperatures. The date stamped on the package is the manufacturered/release date so the product woud be good 3-5 years from that date.

    After spraying Demon on manure to kill ants, how long before I can use it in my garden?
    After spraying Demon to kill ants on my rabbit manure can I still use in my garden for fertilizer? And if so how long do I have to wait to put in my garden?

    Will spraying Demon on sand in a sandy barn work to eliminate fleas?
    My barn cat had kittens. While she is treated the 8 kittens are not and cannot be until a certain age. In just a couple weeks the flea population has grown greatly. I want to get this under control before it becomes a bigger problem. The barn floor is just sand and I'm trying to determine if I can spray it directly on the sand floor in the entire barn. Thanks

    While Demon WP can be used on sandy soils for fleas, it should not be used alone.  We would recommend adding an IGR such as Archer or Nyguard along with it.  This will help prevent young flease from maturing into reproducing adults.  Wondercide Flea & Tick Control Pets & Home - Lemongrass can actually be used on the kittens regardless of age.  It is all natural and non toxic.  If this is an indoor barn, then we would recommend using a product labeled for this use such as the Wondercide or Onslaught Insecticide.
