We have been using Demon WP for about 30 years. We hit a slump with kids and business draining us and couldn't afford the luxury of Demon and used some less expensive products. Yuck! They would work a little bit, wear out soon with a residual of about 6 weeks. With our kids grown and gone now, we have decided to go back to Demon. The real residual effect is more like 6 months and the day after we spray we find roaches sleeping the eternal sleep all over the house. Upside down, if you know what I mean. It's a wonderful product and I recommend it to anyone who asks.

Demon WP Insecticide powder works wonders for controlling bugs outside, and you don't have to spray chemical's inside your house. Very pleased, been using it for 4 years!

I have found that Demon WP is the only product that will kill carpenter bees when they start to bore.
How toxic is Demon WP to fish and dogs? I have a pond with catfish approx. 50 yards from my house and during hard rains water runs off form the house area into the pond. I'm having a big problem with scorpions
Demon WP is not a problem to use around pets as long as you apply it according to the label. Once Demon WP is mixed with water it is only strong enough to kill small insects. You would not want to leave the jar of Demon WP open where dogs could get into a large quantity of it. It is always a good idea to keep pets and children out of the area while you are treating. Once the product dries, usually after 30 minutes, it is perfectly fine to allow pets and children back in the area. However, all pesticides are very dangerous to fish and aquatic life. You would not want to use Demon WP or any other pesticide near a body of water. 50 yards away is a good distance, but if the land sloped down towards the pond, then there may be a concern. If it does not, it should not be a problem to treat around your home that is 50 yards away from the pond.
Does Demon WP kill fleas?
Demon WP does kill adult fleas, but it will not effect flea eggs or other stages. It is always adviseable to mix an IGR (Insect Growth Regulator) with the product you are using. An IGR mixed with Demon WP will help slowdown the reproduction process and yield better results. Precor IGR is our most popular IGR additive and it can be mixed right in the sprayer with the Demon WP and applied at the same time in the same places.
