Differences between Bifen XTS and Talstar One for outdoor use?

I have used both products in the past and notice that neither seem to last very long as far as effectiveness... I live in a mobile home and suspect many insects most likely seem to come in from around the skirting and underneath. I've sprayed both products liberally all around the perimeter of the home and in the yard. Problem is that our complex is surrounded by woods and it's difficult to manage ants and spiders and mice. Any thoughts of suggestions on these products? I like that the Bifen is oil based and stays longer as it rains A LOT here in NJ. Thanks so much. Any suggestions on other products is welcome also..

Answer:

Bifen XTS and Talstar P (Talstar One) are both very good general insecticides to use around the perimeter of your home. The residual on both products is approximately 30 days and once the products dry, it is rainfast so rain will not wash it away. Be sure to spray areas where there would be or you have seen activity for pests to ensure that they come in contact with the treated area. If you are looking for a product that lasts longer outdoors, Suspend Polyzone would be a great option. It has an additional polymer in it that makes it last longer outdoors.
