CitrusGain 8-3-9 Fertilizer Blend should be applied to the soil around the plants; applying it directly on the leaves would burn the plants. Per the product label, water tree the day before the application, and refer to the chart on the bag for feeding amounts. Spread fertilizer evenly over the surface, within the drip line of the plant but away from the trunk. Do not apply fertilizers against the trunk of the trees or at the base of plant stems. Take care to brush or wash fertilizer granules off leaves to prevent injury. After application, water in thoroughly.
