Docket DF Fungicide is a low-cost generic form of the name-brand Daconil Ultrex (Chlorothalonil). It is made by Syngenta, the same company that makes the Daconil product. Docket DF (Daconil) is an excellent disease control agent when used according to label directions for control of a broad spectrum of plant diseases. Docket DF is recommended for use in programs which are compatible with the principles of Integrated Pest Management (IPM), which include the use of disease resistant crop varieties, cultural practices, pest scouting and disease forecasting systems which reduce unnecessary applications of pesticides.
Do not combine Docket DF in a spray tank with any other type of pesticide, surfactant or fertilizer.
This product is NOT labeled for use on BLUE SPRUCE.

Fast results on dollar spot
By Jon on August 23, 2011 Verified PurchaseFor the last 2 or 3 years, here in southern MI, we have had unusually cool and wet spring weather...perfect conditions for dollar spot fungus outbreak. Using 8 oz. of docket mixed with 24 oz. water, I treat approx. 7500 sq.ft. using a hose end sprayer set to deliver 3 oz. of mix per gal. of spray for a curative application. I follow up 7 to 10 days later with a preventative application using the same ratio of docket and water with the sprayer set to deliver 1 1/2 oz. per gal. to cover 15000 sq. ft. The follow up application seems to be key.

Docket DF
By Kevin on August 10, 2011 Verified PurchaseThis is a great Fungicide and is EZ to use mixes well dissolves quickly and dose not clog up your sprayerI have an acre of grass and when I got dollar spots it was about to kill the whole yard this product killed the fungus the first treatment and I have a half of a bag left.

Generic Daconil

Some of landscape trees (Cypress) in my backyard are dying with canker (I guess). I'm trying to use this to prevent the disease from spreading to other Cypress trees (I have 7 total). Could I use my small (2 gallon) plastic sprayer with this product? I am not quite sure that the plastic sprayer is strong enough to contact chlorothalonil.
AIt is perfectly fine to use a normal poly sprayer, 1 or 2 gallon size. It should have no problem handling this product. Of course you should measure accordingly to the amount of water you are using and then only mix what you plan on using and do not leave the product in the sprayer over night. Rinse out the sprayer well when you are done and you should be fine.

AOur most popular product for spider mites is Talstar P. Talstar P is known to have a pretty good miticide effect for these plant infesting pests. When Talstar P is over used the mites are known to build up a resistance to the active ingredient. The other choices would be to use a horticultural oil or an insecticidal soap. Both of these products work best when they make direct contact with the pest and both products are known to cause discoloration to spruce trees. The pro to using one of these products is that spider mites cannot build up a resistance to them.

ADocket DF is a fungicide not a moldicide and will not work for your needs. We do carry Boracare with Moldcare which is meant for use on wood. Boracare with Moldcare is the pest control industry's leading product in the fight against mold. It is the only EPA-registered product that will both kill and prevent mold on wood surfaces. Not only does Bora-care with Mold-care treat mold, but it also acts as a surface protectant, killing all forms of fungi, sanitizing and disinfecting the treated area. In addition, wood treated with Boracare with Moldcare will render wood impervious to termites, powderpost beetles and other wood-destroying insects. You will need to use Mold Clean to get rid of the mold stains prior to using the Boracare with Moldcare.

AThere are several different types of needlecast that can affect blue spruce trees. We recommend that you contact your local cooperative extension office for help identifying the exact disease you are dealing with. You can also review the Docket DF product label for application instructions.

ADocket DF is not labeled for use on edible plants. You can use Fung-onil Multi-purpose fungicide or Liquid Copper Fungicide for blight on tomatoes.

ADocket DF is not labeled for use on tomatoes so we do not recommend it you use the product on tomatoes at all.
