Do you know if UV light hurts scorpions? I've noticed a couple times that they scurry away when exposed to a UV flashlight, but were calmer when I switched to a normal headlamp.
Talstar P is labeled to eradicate scorpions and should be mixed at 1 oz per gallon per 1,000 sq ft. Even this ratio will not offer an instant knockdown of the insect. UV flashlights are great for detecting the insect not actually harm them in anyway. Glueboards can also be placed around the perimeter for added capture. Scorpion Control Article
