The Dominion 2L should have no effect on the birds that eat the insects. Once the product has dried, the level of poison on the surface is only enough to kill something the size of an insect so no secondary poisoning should occur. If you are worried about hummingbirds ingesting the poison from the nectar of the blooms, there again should be no effect once it has dried.
