Dry Rot on my 20 year old redwood deck

I have a 20 year old redwood deck. There is no sign of termites, but there is dry rot in a some places. I plan to power wash both the top and under sides of the decking. Is BORACARE with MOLD-CARE the appropriate treatment after the washing? If yes, what is the appropriate dilution ratio?

Answer:

If you do not currently have any mold issues, then you should just use normal Bora-Care.  Bora-Care with mold care is really only meant for when you have mold issues and preferably indoors.  You should mix Bora-Care at a 1:1 ratio with water and apply on your deck as long as the wood is raw wood, not painted, stained, or sealed.  You Can then stain or paint or both after Bora-Care has been applied.  Normal Bora-Care is the best treatment we sell for dry rot and other wood issues other than mold.
