I own a pesticide business and have experienced wonderful results using EcoExempt IC-2. This product really works. On Long Island, there is a big problem with West Nile virus. The government is doing treatments with chemical insecticides. I can't help wondering why they don't use EcoExempt.

It works!, April 8, 2009
By Caroline from Southern Maine
We hired a professional company to spray our yard every six weeks for tick control. They used Eco Exempt Insecticide and it really worked! Our dog only brought in one tick the whole season! The same company treated our neighbor's yard for mosquitoes using this same product. They were very pleased with the results!
How large of an area will one gallon of Eco Exempt IC-2 treat?
It depends on what you are treating for and how bad the problem is, but you typically mix 2 to 8 ounces per gallon of water depending on severity of the problem, and each gallon of Eco Exempt IC-2 will treat 500 to 1000 sq. feet. If we average this out, then a gallon of product can treat between 10,000 adn 25,000 sq. feet. For specific instructions, please read the Eco Exempt IC-2 product label above, underneath the picture.
Can I spray Eco Exempt IC-2 on avocado trees to eradicate mites? We want to sell the fruit.
Eco-Exempt IC2 cannot be applied to fruit or vegetables directly, especially ones that are planning on being harvested. However, we do have a product made specifically for food bearing trees which is called Malathion 57%. It can be applied right to the food on the tree, For each product there is a cut off time before harvesting, which is usually 7 days. Here is a link to the product label. Scroll down or search for Avocado, and you will find the section on how to treat.
I've got what I believe are cluster flies in every window well and buzzing around every window in my house. It's getting cold outside (northern MN) - will Eco Exempt still be effective in the house at this time? Would it be best to spray or fog?
Unfortunately you are past the time to treat your home for cluster flies. Cluster flies enter your home in the late fall, early winter, usually around late september/early october. The flies enter through cracks around windows and doors and under siding. They lay eggs in the walls and later in the winter they come out, some outside and some inside the home. Next year you should treat the outside of your home earlier in the year to prevent entry. For now, you can spray the inside of the home to help kill flies that are still in the wall. If you spray baseboards, window sills, etc you will kill the flies as they come out. As far as the flies that are in the house already, i would suggest our CB PCO Fogger with Pyrethrin. It should kill any that are flying around in the room you set the bomb off in. Be sure to read all directions and vacate the property for a few hours after setting it off.
