Whenever possible it is best to spray bee, hornet and wasp nests at night as they are less active after the sun goes down. I love this spray

Verified PurchaseI love this spray. I had about 5 squirts left in my last bottle and managed to kill 15 paper wasps. You would have been proud. I hung over my third story balcony with a five-foot long stick and knocked down a nest from under the eves that was about 4 inches wide. Then I ran downstairs with my Eco PCO Jet X and started to spray the nest and all the wasps that were buzzing around. Boy was I twitchy. I had one more shot left, went back upstairs, squirted the area again, 15 more fell from the area where the nest was. (I counted as I smashed them with a hammer, just to be sure.) Thank you for such a great product.

Wonderful all natural substitute!!
By Sue on August 9, 2005I was very pleased with EcoPCO Jet X. I am chemically sensitive to organophosphates, carbamates and pyrethrins but did not react to residues of this pesticide. Note that I did not apply it myself and did take precautions with plastic and masking tape so that substantial amounts did not enter my house. Even with these precautions I did smell cloves after application but it was not offensive. I think you should know, however, that it attracts Japanese beetles. I woke up the next morning and thought that hail was hitting our gutters. It was not hail but multitudes of Japanese beetles. Eco Jet did a great job of destroying a hornet's nest and many wasp nests and is a wonderful substitute for other chemical pesticides.

Eco PCO Jet X - 14 oz. can

Very Effective on Spiders
By Amy on September 1, 2011I have a major spider phobia and I bought this product so I can kill spiders from a comfortable distance. Well, it definitely does the trick! It's especially great in my bedroom, which has 15 ft ceilings. The smell is quite pleasant for a pesticide, like cinnamon and cloves. My only complaint is that it sprays A LOT of product, even with just a short squirt. I wish there was a way to adjust the nozzle, or if there is, I haven't figured it out. I was concerned it would stain my walls and ceiling but, thankfully, it dries invisibly. Highly recommended! Please note, though, so far I've only used it on small-medium house spiders. I haven't had occasion to use it on a more robust spider like a hobo. (Knock on wood!)

Eco PCO Jet
By Linda on July 12, 2012We were experiencing a wasp infestaton and being attacked walking out the door. The spray has been a great tool and we have killed a large number of wasps. The product works great and to add to that, it smells good.

Worth Every Penny
By Adam on July 16, 2012Had a couple active nest on my house. I used this shit I bought from Lowes that seemed not to kill them, only piss them off even though it says it kills them on the can. I bought 1 can of this stuff and it killed them instantly. No worries about running away from the nest, they didn't even get airborne. I wish I bought more the first time! I'm reordering now.

Really only a contact killer
By Steve on August 13, 2012This product is truly only a contact killer. I have a nest somewhere in my attic, with the yellow jackets entering through a hole in the siding/flashing. Spraying deep into the hole at night must be killing some bees, but I obviously am not reaching the nest. Two days after spraying the bees are back and still abundant. If you can't get direct access to the nest, try a different product.

Eco PCO Jet aerosol pesticide
By Bennett on April 18, 2012I was very disappointed in this product. The can's run out quickly, the spray doesn't actually kill on contact. The spray kills plant life, I have some very nice maple trees that were damaged by the product. It smells really bad for weeks after you use it unless it rains.

AEcoPCO Jet X provides instant knockdown and kill of stinging insects. The Jet Spray reaches nests up to 15 feet above ground and kills Bees, Hornets, Wasps & Yellowjackets. We recommend treating stinging insects nests in the late evening when the insects are "home" and less active to avoid stings.

In some situations I can't get into the affected area right away due to the size and time, which I do try evening treatments. But If I missed any would I have to reapply?
AEco PCO Jet does have a bit of a residual to kill any left over insects that land on treated areas. You may want to check the area and retreat after about 1 week if necessary.
