Great product

Left garage door open and that is the only place I have not sprayed yet and see activity. They are next. Now when I see an insect on any of my structures....Dead Bug Walking!

Equil Lanbda the best for Scorpions

Easy to use and no residual odor

It's been a little unseasonably warm so some bugs and one scorpion had already been seen. I decided to try a different insecticide and this particular one was recommended by D.M.O.P.C. After application I noticed no residual odor and after a couple weeks I haven't noticed any crawling insects. I feel confident in the product they recommended and I do appreciate the rapid shipping.

Looking for really good pest control?
By Jill on December 17, 2012I started using this after becoming really frustrated with the products like "Home Defense" sold at Home Depot, Lowe's and the hardware store. Equil Lambda is so much more effective at keeping bugs outside and/or killing them -- especially scorpions, crickets and centipedes. The product looks a little more expensive at first glance...but it's not! I love the ability to mix it myself (so I know how much product I'm really getting)...and it lasts as long as described. No need to re-apply every two weeks!!

By Scott on July 9, 2012Killed all my fleas. The only problem is it doesnt kill the pupal stage so you have to respray several times a couple of weeks apart. But I have to say, I tried EVERYTHING before this and this works MUCH better! I used this in combination with Precor IGR and that combo is pretty good and CHEAPER, yes CHEAPER than trying to get rid of them with stuff available at big box stores. The reason is, you need sooo much more of the stuff from the stores.

AEquil Lambda 9.7 can be used indoors and will not stain carpet. Equil can be used around the perimeter of the carpet only but should not be used to treat the entire carpet per the product label.

AYes, the Equil-lambda is the same formulation as Demand CS and is virtually odorless. We have had no customer complaints on the Equil-lambda brand whatsoever.

AEquil Lambda is a better product than Cyonara. Equil Lambda CS is micro-encapsulated which means it stays stronger and more effective longer. The Cyonara product is not micro-encapsulated. Phantom is a very good product, one of the best. However, the one bottle of Phantom does not make that many finished gallons because it requires 3 oz. per gallon of water, and it is very expensive. While it is an excellent product for bed bug treatment, we still have to walk a fine line of affordable, yet effective bed bug treatments. We do allow our customers to substitute products, so if you wanted to use Phantom instead then you can still get the kit and just pay the difference between the Equil Lambda CS and the Phantom.

AWhen Equil Lambda 9.7 is applied as directed on the product label it will not be washed away with rainfall. Once Equil has been applied on a surface and has been allowed to dry it will not re-constitue with rainfall or wash away.

AEquil Lambda CS and Cy-Kick CS are very similar. The CS on a products name means it is microencapsulated, which means the product has a long residual and will last longer outside and is easier for insects and scorpions to pick up on their bodies. So they are both microencapsulated and both have long residuals. They do have different active ingredients, which is the only difference. Both products are very good at killing scorpions and other insects. Although Cy-Kick CS has been around longer, Equil Lambda CS is our best selling generic product and therefore works just as well for a lot less money.

A Equil is labeled for controlling bedbugs and will leave a residual that can last up to 10 days for bedbug control. We do not recommend that you use any product by itself for bedbug control as bedbugs can build resistance to products. Instead you should be using a dust insecticide and an aerosol with the Equil in a bedbug treatment plan. AAs long as you follow the Equil Lambda 9.7 Cs product label the product is safe to use in a home with children. Be sure the children are out of the area while you are applying the Equil and they can safely return to the treated area as soon as it has dried.

AEquil Lambda does work for mosquitoes. You will need to use 0.8 fl. oz. (24 mL) of Equil per gallon of water for each 1,000 sq ft area for residual mosquito control. The addition of a spreader-sticker at specified rates may enhance the control of insects on certain species of ornamentals having waxy, hard to wet foliage. We do carry Hi Yield Spreader Sticker which can be added to the Equil Lambda dilution.
