Tips for using Evergreen Dust effectively
1. Apply the product only as specified on the label
2. Do NOT apply the product where it will directly contact people and pets (for example, do not apply the dust on your pet). Keep dust treatments to cracks and crevices where insects live and hide.
3. For Bed Bugs: use Evergreen Pyrethrum dust in conjunction with other bed bug control products including Bedlam Aerosol, Cyonara 9.7 or Onslaught, and other bed bug insecticides.
4. Clean-Up: Vacuum up remaining dust and dead insects after treatment.

Yellowjackets in my walls
By Marc on September 30, 2011
Verified PurchaseI had a yellowjacket nest in my walls and all the wasp spray in the world wouldn't suppress the growing problem and activity. One application of this stuff about 10pm after all were back in the hive took care of it. Not a peep since.

LOVE THIS STUFF
By Karen on April 24, 2012I live in Florida and as you know we have lots of problems with Roaches and Palmetto bugs. Since I saw Billy the Exterminator using Pyrethrum I decided to try it. I was thrilled that my cats were not in danger and the product has worked wonders. I have not seen any bugs at all. I tried it for sugar ants and that worked also. This stuff is great and I would reccomend it to everyone. Sincerely, Karen M Burrows

Great Results
By Gina on November 4, 2011
Verified PurchaseThis product was recommended by a co-worker of mine. I am so glad that I listened to him. Within days I saw a decrease in the wood ants that were in my kitchen. I used the dust on the outer perimeter of my house & a little in the corners of my pantry. Very easy to use. I am completely satisfied!

Excellent Stuff, Does What I've Been Looking For
By Chris on April 14, 2012Awesome Product, I will be ordering more. Kills on the spot and keeps them from coming back. I have a massive ant problem out here in the country land and it stopped the problem. Highly recommend for any insect problem. Also works great outdoors.

Carpenter bees
By Ret on June 7, 2012It took one week of dusting in the holes to rid the garage of carpenter bees. At first they kept coming back but within a week they were gone and I repainted the trim. I am thrilled but must get the application if you can afford it. I used a broom and q-tips for the dusting.
Eliminated black ants immediately
By Paul on September 24, 2012Worked immediately and easy to get into crevices but a separate sprayer would probably be more accurate.

QOnce Evergreen dust is applied inside walls, crevices, electrical boxes, how long does its potency last?
We are trying to create barriers against bed bugs between apartments in multi-unit buildings and don't want to reapply constantly. Diatomaceous earth works forever as long as it doesn't get wet but doesn't have the instant kill that this dust has.
AEvergreen Pyrethrum Dust 1% can last for up to 4-6 months depending on where it was applied. You should also note that Evergreen Pyrethrum Dust 1% dust does not have an immediate kill (all dusts take time to kill insects), and it can take about 3 days for insects to die after they have come into contact with treated areas. And while it is true that Diatomaceous earth can last indefinitely it will still need to be reapplied as it becomes covered with other dust or debris.
