Product Overview

FastOut CS Foam is the only microencapsulated, ready-to-use insecticide foam with non-repellent residual activity.  Non-repellant means that insects will pass right through the foam or the residual without detecting the insecticide. FastOut CS comes with a broad label that controls termites and 34 other common insect pests. In addition, the product is labeled for food-handling areas and commercial kitchens. FastOut CS delivers an expansive dry foam very quickly and easily, allowing you to fill cracks, crevices and voids, such as wall voids, or the voids in freestanding kitchen equipment (which often harbor pests). Note about treating Termites:

FastOut™ CS Foam cannot be used as a sole source for the control of active structural infestations of subterranean termites and is intended as a support tool to soil residual insecticides, termite bait systems, or other products that are registered and labeled as sole source or stand-alone termite control products. This treatment is intended for localized termite infestations only. The purpose of such applications of FastOut™ CS Foam is to kill workers or winged reproductive forms which may be present in the treated channels at the time of treatment. Such applications are not a substitute for mechanical alteration, soil treatment or foundation treatment but are merely a supplement.

How to Use:

Always read the product label before use.

FastOut CS Foam brings all the advantages of SmartCapTM microencapsulation  Technology in a convenient can to reach tough voids. As the foam is applied, it expands,
spreading microcapsules throughout the void, coating insects and all internal
void surfaces for complete coverage and long-lasting control. Equipped
with an extremely versatile label, this product fills a niche that others
don’t address. Whether it’s a wood destroying insect job or general pest,
commercial kitchen or private residence, this ready-to-use product is good to
have at your side.

1. Shake Well
Shake container for several seconds before each use. This helps to activate
the foaming agents for optimal foam consistency and smooth delivery.

2. Drill Hole (if necessary)
It may be necessary to create access into a void for treatment (such as a wall void). Drill a hole using a 1/8" drill bit for best fit with the injector tip.

3. Apply Treatment
Insert the injector tip tightly into access hole of void and depress actuator. FastOut CS Foam delivers foam at a rate of approximately 1 quart (fully expanded) per 10 seconds.

4. Wait 8 Seconds
After applying the appropriate amount of FastOut CS Foam, release the actuator but continue to hold the injector tip tightly in the access hole. Wait at least 8 seconds while the product within the injector tube fully expands and dispenses into the treatment area.

Fast out worked the first time.

    By Mike on 09/02/2010

Had yellow jackets in my wall. Drilled one little hole and sprayed the foam in. The yellow jackets did not fly off they entered the nest and the product did the work. The other sprays I tried repelled them temporarily and they continued to return to the nest in time.

FastOut CS Foam - 20 oz Lives Up To Its Name

    By Anonymous on 08/24/2013

    Verified Purchase

After getting invaded by termites in our summer cabin we needed immediate help. After searching the internet we decided on the FastOut CS Foam - 20 oz pressurized spray bottle. After removing a wall panel and spraying the area and also the area where house electrical wiring comes up through the floor to the service panel. I also drilled 1/8" holes, sprayed and plugged to get at other areas in this small section of our cabin that was infected. Within two days there was no noise of gnawing or signs of sawdust. I then continued with the Dominion 2L Termicide Concentrate treatment by digging a trench, adding four gallons every four feet and then spraying the back-fill and spraying the lower three feet of the walls and foundation sides. After a couple of weeks there is no indication of termite activity. Now we will see how long this control procedure will last. So far so good!

    Works Great

    By Damian on 09/28/2012

I have a wasp nest inside my outer wall. The wasps are getting in where the upper vinyl siding meets the lower brick. I hung 3 bag traps that catch 10-20/day each but not enough to make a real difference. I tried wasp "foaming" spray, but they just disperse as soon as you spray, then fly back to the crack. I even sprayed it into the cracks and it didn't do anything. It doesn't really foam up like you expect, and it dissolves instantly. I read that wasps do not like the scent of dryer sheets and will abandon the nest - wrong! I stuffed them in the crack and they did exit at first, but soon came back. I also took rat glue traps(glue is nice and thick so they sink into it), taped them back to back to the end of a pole, leaned it against the main entrance and within 5 minutes each was covered in 40 wasps. That does seem to be pretty fast and effective, but still doesn't eliminate them. So after all these attempts I came across this CS Foam and thought I'd try it. I zip tied a metal rod to the plastic tubing so I could jam it 3-4 inches under the siding. It foams up like crazy. Similar to insulation foam, but not as dense and thick. More like a light shaving cream foam. The foam lasts several hours. I stuck it into 3 mortar joints and sprayed 4-5 seconds until it spewed out. The 1st time was later in the evening and most had already returned to the nest, so it didn't do much as by morning when they venture out the foam was gone, although the bag traps had much fewer wasps. The next day I did it earlier when they were still active and soon there were a lot buzzing around trying to get in the cracks. Some landed on the foam and got stuck, but didn't kill them instantly. I used my rat glue board trap on a pole and left it at the main entrance for an hour thinking they will land on it trying to get in. When I came back it had 50 wasps plus a queen. Not sure if it is THE queen or a young queen. Either way I was happily surprised. I'll see tonite if there are more, but I doubt it, as I captured a queen. There is no nasty smell. The only thing is it would be nice if the foam had an attractant that lured them to land on the foam which makes them stuck, otherwise it works great.

I ordered FastOut CS Foam and followed the directions and the termites are gone!! The results are just as good as the company I paid $600.00 to apply their product in the same way. I will order more to do spot treatment when I return to Florida this fall. Thanks again for a product that does as advertised!!

Q
I have seed moths and I have birds in the room that is infested. Can I use FastOut on the walls and corners?

Do I have to remove all of the birds to do the treatment?

A
You must remove all animals and people prior to applying FastOut Foam or any other insecticide. People and animals can return as soon as the area that was treated is dry. According to the product label "Make spot, void and/or Crack & Crevice treatment to localized areas including shelves, cupboards and storage areas where food
products suspected of being infested are located. Remove or cover food before treatment. This treatment is supplemental to good housekeeping, since it will have no effect on insects within packaging. Infested food packaging should be destroyed".

Q
How effective is Fastout CS Foam in walls with fiberglass insulation?

Is there enough room to expand

A
That all depends on how dense the fiberglass insulation is in your wall void.  The foam can only enter space that is available.  If they used a dense insulation that is packed in your wall void, then the product will not have much room to expand into.  There is no way to really know until you try to foam a void and see how far it goes.  If there is no room the product will squirt back out of the hole you are treating through from the pressure.

Q
I have bees in an outside wall where the cable tv wire came through.

I plugged hole and sprayed but they are back and have found another way in. Do you have a gel, foam, or paste that I could put around the entrance to kill them. Thanks

A
Fastout Foam would be a good choice. FastOut CS Foam is the only microencapsulated, ready-to-use insecticide foam with non-repellent residual activity.  Non-repellant means that insects will pass right through the foam or the residual without detecting the insecticide.
