Not bad, so far.
By Bob on February 12, 2012I purchased this backpack sprayer for personal home use, for perimeter spraying and for spraying my bushes and hedges. I have only used this once since I purchased it and the unit seems decent enough. I did not particularly like the spray gun on this as it did not put down a fine enough spray. I went through 8 gallons of pesticide mix to do the exterior of my house. It is basically like using a garden hose. The lower pump settings did not put out enough pressure to get the spray far enough away from the user so I stuck with the high pressure setting. I have a B&G one gallon pump sprayer with a proffessional spray wand. I converted the end of the B&G wand with a quick release end like the one on this backpack's spray gun and the next time I use this backpack sprayer, I will try it with the B&G wand to see if it gives me a better spray, which I believe it will. I can't say how long this unit's pump or battery will last, so I can only hope it gives me many years of service. I seems like it is put together o.k. But doesn't scream commercial use ready, but I could be wrong...only time will tell. This does beat having to stop and pump up the sprayer all the time, but with the spray gun and the high pump setting, get ready to go through a lot of pesticide!!!

Poor Packaging
By Rich on February 13, 2012Unit arrived damaged. Was not securely packaged. Returned for credit.
Expert response:
The Fastpac sprayers are shipped directly from the manufacturer, so we are not the ones responsible for the damage. However, the manufacturer stands behind their product and will take care of any issues directly.
ESR-25
By Mike on June 10, 2012I ordered the ESR-18-G, but used it once and I think something was wrong with the pump. So I returned it and noticed that FastPac had a 6 gallon (the ESR-25), I switched it out for that one. There are 2 different nozzles available for the spray gun, so I got the smaller nozzle and it's supposed to use less pesticide and spray further. I also ordered the 18" brass spray wand.
