The FBS-1 Fly Bait Station is an innovative new bait station made specifically for granular fly bait. The station can be mounted on fences, walls or other surfaces near dumpsters, behind restaurants or in other places where flies are a problem. The EZ Strike Fly Bait Station has a locking lid that only allows flies to enter, protecting the bait from the elements, children and pets. The station easily mounts to all types of surfaces using zip ties, screws or liquid nails. BAIT NOT INCLUDED.

Only 1 Key is provided per order, despite how many stations you order. We do sell additional FBS-1 Keys if you need more than one.

The FBS Fly Bait Station has a locking lid that only allows flies to enter, protecting the bait from the elements, children and pets. The station easily mounts to all types of surfaces using zip ties, screws or liquid nails.

The EZ Strike Fly Bait Station Placement Recommendations:

Around Dumpsters – Place FBS1 Fly Bait Stations 3 to 5 feet apart and 4 to 6 feet above the ground.
Around Rear Entry Doors - Place FBS1 Fly Bait Stations 5 to 7 feet on either side of doors 4 to 6 feet above the ground.
Around Drive Up Windows - Place FBS1 Fly Bait Stations 5 to 8 feet from window on either side of the window. Do not put stations above or below windows.

Large Commercial and USDA and Inspected Facilities:

On Fence Lines - Place FBS1 Fly Bait Stations 10 to 20 feet apart and 4 to 6 feet above the ground.
On Walls - Place FBS1 Fly Bait Stations 10 to 20 feet on either side of doors 4 to 6 feet above the ground.
Around Dumpsters and Trash Areas - Place FBS1 Fly Bait Stations 3 to 5 feet apart and 4 to 6 feet above the ground.
Around Docks and Bay Areas - Place FBS1 Fly Bait Stations 10 to 20 feet apart and 4 to 6 feet above the ground.

Horse Barns and Agricultural Facilities:

Closely monitor label of the bait you are using.
Place FBS1 Fly Bait Stations every 4 to 10 feet depending on the severity of the problem.

What is the shelf life of the fly bait? I only have a fly problem during Summer. Will it last a year or more in the bucket?

I assume you are talking about the Maxforce Fly Bait and not the Fly Bait Station (FBS-1). The Fly Bait Station can be used over and over again for years to come. The Maxforce Granular Fly Bait has a shelf life of 2 years unopened. Once it is opened it will last about a year as long as you keep the lid on securely when not in use. So you could expect to get two summers of treatment out of one bucket.
