Simply measure the tree or shrub to be treated, pull back any ground covering such as leaves or mulch, sprinkle the granules around the base of the plant and water in the granules. QIs it too late to kill Japanese beetles with Fertilome Tree and Shrub Systemic Insect Granular 2.5%?
We have a 50 ft. tall River Birch
AFertilome Tree and Shrub Systemic Insect Granular 2.5% takes several weeks to several months to be absorbed by the roots and then translocated throughout the tree. We recommend that this late in the season you use a topical foliage product such as Talstar P to help control the Japanese Beetle population on the tree and also on the surrounding vegetation.
