Fertilome Triple Action with 70% Neem Oil

Fertilome Triple Action is a new formulation that replaces the old Fertilome Triple Action Plus II. It provides quick and more complete control. It acts as an “exciter” to release insect pests that are hiding and into contact with spray residues. It is great to use on herbs, spices, flowers & shrubs, fruits, nuts and vegetables & roses. It will control scale, beetles, spider mites, loopers, aphids, leaf miners, armyworms, weevils, whiteflies, tent caterpillars, and other insects. This is a fungicide that works and will prevent and control fungal diseases such as: black spot, brownspot, leaf spot, powdery mildew, anthracnose, rust and others. This formulation has taken out PBO (Piperonyl butoxide) from the old formulation, but still contains pyrethrins. It can be sprayed up to the day of harvesting. Spray once every 14 days to keep pests out.

Fertilome Triple Action is a newer formulation of the Triple Action Plus II but now with a higher active ingredient and quicker and more complete control. Triple Action is a multi-purpose insecticide, fungicide, miticide that kills eggs, larval and adult stages of insects and controls plant diseases. Fertilome Triple Action can be applied every 7-14 days to kill existing diseases and insect pests. It can also be applied up to the day of harvest on all fruit trees and vegetable plants.

I consider Triple Action Plus the best garden product going. It takes care of bugs, fungus, and disease. I live in the south where fungus is everywhere and bugs grow BIG this product is the only one I have found that works. Thank you.

Very fast service, great products!  I have bought from this site 2 to 3 times.  Very happy with everything. My local Lowes and other stores do not carry the garden supplies I need. Thanks for a great store.

5 of 5 stars  Highly Recommended
By Matt in Fort Worth, Texas on 08/13/2011

Mosquitoes found my indoor planters. I have used the original Fertilome TAP in the past with great results in decimating fungus gnat and spider mite populations so I gave the new formula a try by pouring a few tablespoons into the planter reservoirs on their latest fill up. A few days later there were no more mosquitos to be seen. None of my exotics are damaged. This works wonderfully.

By Sonja in Carnegie, OK on 08/01/2012

My neighbor's tomato plants are being invaded by worms, but mine are not. Every year my plants get worms and I have to pick them off, but not this year. I bought this specifically for my garden and specifically for my tomatoes.

5 of 5 stars  Fertilome Triple Action Plus II does the job!
By George in Charlotte, NC on 07/12/2012

Due to the mild winter and warm, moist spring, our roses were being "eaten alive" by spider mites. The old standby's we have used for years for insect control resulted in killing off the natural predators of the spider mites, giving them a spring holiday. This was further aggravated by almost 10 days of 100+ temperatures, setting or breaking 100+ year old heat records daily, and totally unusual for North Carolina. The Fertilome couldn't help with the heat, but did strike a blow to the spider mites. Will always keep Fertilome Triple Action Plus II in our arsenal in the future!!!! Let me add that the 3 orders I have placed with DoMyOwnPestControl have been filled promptly, shipped quickly and received in excellent condition. They're my "go-to" place for garden supplies now...

I am unable to give any honest opinion of the product, but based on my Florida location and the Univ of FL Dept of Ag, this should do very well in my garden. The price and speed of delivery are gold medal material. Absolutley no regrets. I have used them in the past and (sorry) forgot to save your bookmark. Will not happen again.

purchased this for the purpose of spraying the new vegetable garden and keep it free of pests...found it to be very effective on shrubs and trees and eradicating the eggs of moths/beetles in the fissures of the bark that like to overwinter. the amount of caterpillars dining on my trees with the first warm temperatures in spring were broken as a result. very similiar to hort or dormant oil.

QIs Fertilome Triple Action Plus II with 70% Neem Oil organic?

AFertilome Triple Action Plus is not an organic product because it contains the active ingredient PBO, a synergizing agent which is man made. We do not carry another product that contains both an insecticide and a fungicide and is also organic. You may need to consider using two separate products together to get the same results as using Fertilome Triple Action Plus. Most people that want to use all natural products choose a combination of Insecticidal Soap and Neem Oil.

QDo I need to reapply Triple Action Plus after a rain shower?
I applied triple action plus to my garden, and roughly 90 minutes later there was a moderate rain shower for about 5 minutes.

ATypically it takes a product a good 30 to 45 minutes to properly dry...even quicker depending on where you live in the summer.  After a product has dried completely it should hold up quite well in rain, especially only a pop up storm that only lasted 10 minutes or so.  You should be fine, but it would be okay to re-apply again in about 2 weeks if you feel that you needed to.

QCan I use the Fertilome Triple Action Plus directly on the vegetables themselves, not just the foliage?
Just to confirm, TAP can be safely sprayed directly upon the edible vegetable itself? We also have powdery mildew infestation of an Egyptian Mint plant - are the leaves still edible after treatment with TAP? Thanks

AYou can spray the Fertilome Triple Action Plus II directly on the edible vegetation with no problem. Be sure to thoroughly wash the food plant before it is consumed.

QWill Fertilome Triple Action control grubs under the soil in a vegetable garden?
I found some white grubs, perhaps Japanese beetle, in my garden and I'm looking for something safe to control them without toxic chemicals.

A

While Fertilome Triple Action is a fantastic product for a wide variety of insects and safe for vegetable gardens, it is not something to use for grubs in the soil. A better option would be either Milky Spore Powder (if its only japanese beetle grubs) as it is a completely organic grub control product for use in lawns and gardens; Or a product like Imidapro 4SC which is labeled for use on edibles with short pre harvest intervals and will control grubs of all kinds and any other insects trying to do damage to your edibles.†

QCan I use Fertilome Triple Action with 70% Neem Oil on hibiscus?
I have plumeria plants with rust and they are about a foot from my hibiscus hedges. It will be very difficult to spray the plumeria without falling on the hibiscus.

A

Fertilome Triple Action with 70% Neem Oil††could harm Hibiscus blossoms because of its sensitive tissues. It would be recommended to apply at the cooler points of the day. Also, on a day that is less windy to help prevent drifting on the Hibiscus.
