How Fireback Bed Bug and Insect Spray Works
Fireback Bed Bug and Insect Spray incorporates three active ingredients in a ready-to-use pressurized insecticide for a versatile formulation. Natural pyrethrins provide a quick knockdown of target pests, while the synthetic pyrethroid permethrin has residual killing power for up to 3 months. Piperonyl butoxide has no insecticidal properties of its own, but it acts as a synergist to stabilize the other active ingredients.
NEW Smart Can Technology includes Fan Spray, Pin Stream, Any Angle Spray & Cap Holder. The Fireback line of aerosols incorporate a convenient smart can technology. First, the top to the can will snap onto the bottom of the can for convenience and prevents misplacing the top. Second, the special trigger to the aerosol will disperse a mist/fan type spray or a pin stream spray for cracks and crevices without the need for a straw to be attached. Both spray patterns can be deployed with the can in any position.
Bed bugs, cockroaches, ants, spiders, wasps
PESTS CONTROLLED: Ants, Beetles (including Carpet and Ground Beetles), Centipedes, Clothes Moths, Cockroaches (including Asian Cockroaches), Crickets, Firebrats, Fleas, Lice, Louse Eggs, Millipedes, Mole Crickets, Mud Daubers, Palmetto Bugs, Pillbugs, Scorpions, Silverfish, Sowbugs, Spiders, Ticks, Waterbugs, Wasps
Use Fireback Bed Bug and Insect Spray for knockdown and residual kill of many common insects found indoors and outdoors around buildings. Fireback kills bed bugs, cockroaches, ants, and other common household insects including clothing moths, carpet beetles, and lice. Use Fireback Bed Bug and Insect Spray as a crack and crevice spray for insects, or apply as a space spray for fleas. Fireback Bed Bug and Insect Spray also can be used to kill wasps and treat wasp nests outdoors.
Fireback Bed Bug and Insect Spray is a convenient formulation that provides both knockdown and residual protection in a ready-to-use aerosol. The unique can and actuator design allow the product to be used in any orientation, and crack and crevice treatments can be made without the use of an additional straw or other attachments. This is a truly versatile product for small treatments or any situation when convenience is a priority. Fireback Bed Bug and Insect Spray is also a water-based aerosol, so it has less odor and is less likely to stain fabrics than oil-based aerosols.

*20 seconds per 1,000 cu. ft. – Space Spray treatment
*10 seconds per 100 sq. ft. – Fleas in buildings, space spray
*3 seconds per square foot – Lice and louse eggs
*For other applications, apply to surfaces until damp.
For use in the following areas:
Residential and commercial areas, non-food/feed areas of food/feed processing plants
Spray into hiding places such as cracks and crevices, behind sinks, cabinets, along baseboards and floors, around drains and plumbing, hitting insects with spray whenever possible. Repeat treatment as necessary.
Space Spray: Spray 20 seconds per 1,000 cu. ft. of space, moving toward the door. Leave room and keep area closed for 15 minutes following treatment. Repeat application weekly or as necessary.
Bedbugs: Spray mattresses, particularly around tufts and seams. Take beds apart and spray into all joints. Treat baseboards, moldings, and floors. Repeat treatment as necessary. Allow all sprayed articles to dry thoroughly before use. Not recommended as the sole treatment against bed bugs.
Fleas in Buildings (Space Spray): Hold can 36 in. above floor and direct spray toward floor and lower walls at a rate of 10 sec. per 100 sq. ft., making sure that all floor, sofa and chair surfaces are contacted. Leave room and keep area closed for 15 minutes. Open and ventilate before reoccupying. Repeat treatment after 7 days or as needed.
Fleas and Ticks (Adult and Larvae): Remove and thoroughly clean or destroy pet bedding. Spray pet sleeping quarters, bed, entire floor and floor covering, with special attention to cracks and crevices, around baseboards, and window and door frames. Infested upholstered furniture and mattresses may also be treated with this product. A test application should be made to upholstery or drapery fabrics in an inconspicuous place before use.
Point spray nozzle away from face. Hold can on slight downward angle. For best results, spray when air is calm. Allow a few minutes for product to take effect. Spray with wind if breeze is blowing. For crawling insects, spray infested surface of patio or picnic area, hitting as many insects as possible. Also spray legs of tables and chairs to repel ants. Spray ant hills for best control.
Wasps: Allow fog to drift over area. Direct spray toward bushes or grass from at least 4 to 6 feet away. Give special attention to breeding areas such as garbage cans and compost piles. Repeat as necessary.
Mud Daubers and Wasp Nests: Spray mist directly on insects and their nests from approximately 2 feet away. Contacted insects will fly away from fog. Applications should be made in late evening when insects are at rest. Spray into hiding and breeding places contacting as many insects as possible.

Fireback Works Fantastic!
By Ann in Orlando on February 12, 2012
It worked great! Killed the bed bugs in seconds and I was able to spray the entire mattress and box spring using 2 cans. The double option spray nozzle is real convenient and quick. I found that pushing straight down on the nozzle gave me a fan spray. Pushing the nozzle from the top back of it forward and down gave me a pointed spray. The pointed spray actually foamed as it hit the seams covering more area. The switch from the fan to pointed was almost instant. Should I have another issue develop I will purchase this product again. I also used it to spray the bed frame and under furniture.

Fireback Bed Bug and Insect Spray
By Michael in Dayton, Ohio 45420 on March 9, 2013
My exterminator recommended the Fireback spray, and I had hit the most probable areas which bed bugs would most likely re-infest. While it is too early to determine the results, between the exterminator and the do-it-yourself Fireback, the only bed bugs I've seen in the last two or three weeks are DEAD bugs.

Does not work
By Trisha in Smithfield,NC on December 3, 2014
Used a whole can on my sofa. There was no improvement in the BB's .Mostly trying to get rid of newly hatched ones because you cannot see them ,but just made them bite worst.
Fireback is primarily a contact kill insecticide, so we would recommend using it in conjunction with other products for bed bug treatments. Upholstered furniture such as sofas can be particularly tricky to treat. Please see our videos and article How To Get Rid of Bed Bugs for additional information: http://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/how-to-get-rid-of-bed-bugs-a-109.html. FIREBACK BED BUG AND INSECT SPRAY
By Frances in HAMPTON, VIRGINIA on September 21, 2015
Really good stuff. Pleasant smell not harsh. Expensive but worth it. I have a very unclean neighbor and when he uses one of those dollar store bombs a few of his "friends" want to run to my house..... The one small problem I have found is one of the cans the sprayer wont work. (which means I cant get it to spray) What do I need to do about that??
A clogged nozzle can usually be cleared by rinsing the nozzle in hot water for a few minutes. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. We appreciate your feedback and your business!

February 10, 2012Josh asked:
QDoes Fireback Bed Bug and Insect spray kill bedbug eggs?
AFireback Bed Bug Spray is not labeled to kill bedbug eggs. You should note that even products that are labeled to kill eggs will not kill 100% of bedbug eggs so retreatments will still be necessary.
May 18, 2013Jerry from Milwaukee, Wi. asked:
QStraw Tip would be nice.....
I need this product to search for carpenter ant nests inside wall voids, cracks. But a tip would be more useful when inserting into tiny cracks, holes, Correct??
AFire back bed bug spray does not need a straw for crack/crevice application. The special trigger to the aerosol will disperse a mist/fan type spray or a pin stream spray for cracks and crevices without the need for a straw to be attached. Both spray patterns can be deployed with the can in any position. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
January 13, 2015Dennis asked:
QHow do you adjust from pin stream to fan spray. Re-position top?
AAccording to Nisus, the nozzle tip on the Fireback Bed Bug and Insect Spray is able to push foward and backwards to adjust for the spray pattern. The small hole on top of the nozzle is to be used for the pinstream spray. If you need further assistance, you can reach Nisus at 1-800-264-0870.
