Monterey Fish and Poop is a concentrated organic fertilizer made of liquid fish and sea bird guano. It can be used as a soil drench or foliar spray (diluted in water) and is great for houseplants and ornamentals. The bat guano has a high concentration of necessary plant nutrients and is fast acting, and the fish fertilizer is a slower release and stays in the soil for a long period of time.

Smell is gone quickly
By Dan in Crown Pt. Indiana on 05/20/2016
I use 1 Oz per gallon and spray 32 gal. on my lawn every 2 weeks in the spring and in the fall. My back yard is approx. 32,000 sq. ft. My lawn is tall fescue. This product keeps my lawn green without having to cut every 2-3 days like highly N based urea sprays. Do not worry about the immediate smell, as the product dries, the smell is gone.

QIs the product Fish and Poop okay for hydrangeas?
It's a slow and fast release formula. I'm concerned about the fast release part as it appears hydrangeas need slow release.
AYes, you can use Fish and Poop on Hydrangeas. Use ½ fl. oz. per gallon of water or ½ pint (8 fl. oz.) in hose-end sprayer. Apply monthly during growing season. Also, be sure to apply in early morning or late afternoon.
