The FMC Residual Fogger provides a mist with a mild odor that dries clear in the treated area. Be sure the area where you are using the fogger is at least 5 x 5 x 5 feet, and follow all precautions on the product label.
Per the product label for FMC Residual Fogger: Turn off ALL ignition sources such as pilot lights (shut off gas valves), other open flames or running electrical appliances that cycle off and on (i.e., refrigerators, thermostats, etc.)
FMC Residual Fogger will not kill flea eggs and will only kill the fleas that are out in the open at the time you use it. It can take multiple applications to completely elminate fleas, but this is not the best product with which to do so. Nyguard Plus would be a better option as it also contains an IGR to help prevent the young from maturing into reproducing adults. It also has the benefit of being an odor neutralizer as well. Infested bedding should be washed and dried, and this will kill anything on it; neither product can be used on bedding. We also have a great guide here that explains the treatment needed.
FMC Residual Fogger is not labeled for mites. We would recommend Evergreeen Pyrethrum Conncentrate or Abamectin 0.15 EC Insecticide Miticide for control of russet mites.
Since the FMC Residual Fogger is not labeled for use in greenhouses or on plants, specifically, we would recommend removing the bird of paradise or other houseplants from the treatment area to avoid any potential damage to the plants. You can return plants to the area after the fog has settled and the area has been ventilated according to the product label instructions.
FMC Residual Fogger can leave behind an oily residue that needs to be cleaned up.
FMC Residual Fogger will only kill those insects that are out in the open at the time you use it and leave a slight residual of up to 30 days on the surfaces it lands on. If the larvae are out during application it could kill them but they prefer dark undisturbed areas to feed so this is not always the case.
No, the FMC Residual Fogger would affect rodents. We would recommend using a rodent repellent such as DeTour Sealant instead.
No, the FMC Residual Fogger is not labeled for carpenter ants or any other wood boring insects. Please refer to our Pest Control Guides on how to treat for those types of insects and what products to use.
Aerosol Foggers such as Residual Fogger can be used to treat the garage however will only kill roaches that are out when it is going off and can leave a residual to keep killing those that contact a treated area only for a few weeks after. It will not effect those that hide and do not come out.
Roaches, especially German Roaches require a combination of products and repeat treatments to fully eradicate. Roaches will nest in appliances for the heat source, this is common. Since you cannot spray into the fridge or electrical panels, we recommend using bait to lure them out of the refrigerator.

Residual Fogger is not specifically labeled for spiders in crawlspaces. We carry Pro-Control Plus Total Release and it is an aerosol fogger that can be dispersed in the crawlspace and will eradicate exposed spiders and other listed insects.
