For treating ash trees for EAB, using a 2.25 oz Adonis in 25 gal of water, how do I calculate how much to use?

Answer:

Each packet of Adonis 75 WSP would treat 24-48 cumulative inches of trunk diameter, so you would need to dilute the product and then divide it evenly among the trees for soil treatment. Please see the chart on page 8 of the product label. This application can be pretty tricky to do, so we usually recommend to use the liquid form of this product, Adonis 2F, which is used at a rate of 0.1-0.2 fl. oz. per inch of trunk diameter in sufficient water to get thorough treatment (no less than 10 gallons per 1,000 square feet).
