How to use:
The IGR in Gentrol Aerosol provides preventative action, since it disrupts stored product pests' normal development. FOR BEDBUG Treatments:

GENTROL AEROSOL contains GENTROL® Insect Growth Regulator (IGR). The IGR disrupts the normal development of bedbugs. Bedbugs exposed to GENTROL AEROSOL will become adults incapable of reproducing, thus ending the cycle of an infestation. Use GENTROL AEROSOL in areas such as, but not limited to: apartment buildings, hospitals, residential homes, hotels/motels, nursing homes, and marine vessels.

Spot or Crack and Crevice Applications:
Apply GENTROL AEROSOL as a crack and crevice application using the supplied extension tube. Apply directly to areas such as: wall voids, pipe chases, crevices, and false ceilings. Apply spot treatments to areas such as: storage areas, closets, furniture and beds. To treat bedbugs, apply to harborage points mentioned above; in addition, under beds, bottom side of box springs (do not treat linens and mattresses), under and behind night stands, to points where carpet and wall meet, cracks in cove base, molding, and other areas where bedbugs harborage.

Nothing else had had the slightest effect on this infestation, including two different visits by professional exterminators. Gentrol really worked, though it took several weeks to collapse the population. The present order of concentrate is to take care of a few stragglers, and keep our protection up. The plumbing company sprayed our drains and cleaned them by flushing them with hot water. They charged us $165. However, three weeks later, we still had them in the hundreds. I ordered Gentrol from DoMyOwnPestControl, and am very happy with the results. We are only seeing one or two on occasion and with another application or two we should be rid of them entirely. This company has excellent products and service. The shipping was fast and the product well packaged. Love the free shipping. I will definately purchase from them again. A No, Gentrol cannot be used directly on pets or humans, but it is safe to use it in environments where they live. All people and pets should be removed from the treatment area prior to the application of Gentrol, and they may return when the application is dry. Please read the Gentrol product label.

Q  Can I spray Gentrol Aerosol IGR along with Phantom. Hello I have a serious bed bug infestation and I would like to know if I can use both products at the same in the same crevices and base boards. A Yes, Gentrol can be used in the very same cracks and crevices where you spray Phantom.

Q  How does Gentrol Aerosol IGR differ from BedLam? Should I use both at once? Is this product sold in stores? If so, which? If not, why? A Gentrol IGR is an insect growth regulator which means it does not kill any bed bugs at all, or any pest for that matter.  An IGR disrupts the insects reproduction cycle and prevents it from maturing and reproducing thereby slowing down the life cycle and allowing you to kill an infestation quicker because they are not laying new eggs while you are treating the problem.  Bedlam is strictly an insecticide and does the killing.  You can spray them both in the same places at once and they will not harm each other or react with each other.  They both do different things.  None of our products are found in stores because we sell only professional products that are not sold over the counter.  We sell the same products the professional companies use.
