So far upon looks it does look very much like the one that we presently have that we like. Since it was a Christmas Present and we do live in Maine, we do not trap much during the winter. But - from Spring through Fall, we have trapped as many as 30 or more chipmunks and anywhere from 20-30 red squirrels. One trap was not enough when you see two of these little animals running around at the same time - With this additional one it will save on us making 2 trips a day on frequent occasions. I would like to add, the order came through very promptly. Thank you.

While the description for this trap says it is good for Squirrels, etc.......it appears to be to small to catch most Squirrels......except perhaps a baby or small flying Squirrel. Product did come on time and in perfect condition however. It just does not work as expected.

Ordered a Model 1025. Received a Model 1085. Company sent me a replacement 1025 and a label to send the 1085 back to them. I traveled 90 miles to do that and to send the replacement 1025 back to them at my own cost which did not work at all.......

I recently bought the Havahart animal trap with free small trap at Atwoods as the small trap looked like a rat would not escape it. After I failed to catch the garage rat, I ordered this smaller trap online. While waiting for shipment, I caught the garage rat in free small trap! Have caught 4 rats in it so far, plus a small raccoon in the barn along with Mama in larger trap. However, tho snapped, this smallest trap has not caught anything yet. It is also easily snapped by vibration so needs to be on a steady surface.

Bought this model 1025 to monitor rat population in carport. Weeks passed & nothing touched the pecan I used for bait. Good sign rat population is low. However, I recently caught a very huge copperhead in it. We have small dogs so its elimination was appreciated. Worth the money. Will order more.
