I have an issue with squirrels getting in my attic, can I spray I Must Garden Squirrel Repellent on my roof? What can I use to keep them out?

I Must Garden Squirrel Repellent is labeled for pots, planters, flower beds, bulbs, trees, garbage cans, outdoor furniture. It should be reapplied every 2-3 weeks and more frequently when there is heavy rain. The product label also states that damage or discoloration may occur.
