I have a honeycrisp apple tree, four years old. This spring, I put three cups of dried blood around the tree.

I then added one spraying of fungicide insecticide. the leaves are all turning brown prematurely. What is there to be done?

Answer:

Unfortunately we don't have a way to diagnose the disease based on what you have described and are unable to make a recommendation without knowing what is causing the issue. You should contact your local cooperative extension office and they will be able to help you identify the disease so we can help you select the best product for your needs: http://www.csrees.usda.gov/Extension/
