Have infestation of what I thought to be drain flies in my kitchen sink

I replaced my garbage disposal because of a small leak, did the tape across the drain, but no drain flies stuck to tape. They are sticking to the walls and light fixture in the ceiling. They stick to anything that is moist like paper towels, kitchen garbage can. This has been going on for 3 weeks.
