    Q
Will Hexygon DF work outside on bird mites?
    A
Hexygon DF miticide is intended as a foliar application on crops and plants.  Since it is intended for this purpose it has not been tested on bird mites, and bird mites is not on the label.  Therefore we cannot recommend it for that purpose and we are not sure if it would work.  Our most popular product for bird mites outside is Talstar.

    Q
I was told to use AVID for mites (leaf borers). Do you have anything like it?
    A
We do carry Hexygon DF miticide/ovicide which is a broad spectrum miticide/ovicide. Hexygon controls mites through ovicidal, larvicidal, and residual/ovicidal activity. It acts as a temporary reproductive inhibitor on egg laying female mites, and interrupts the development process of mite eggs. Newly deposited eggs are most susceptible, while early nymphal stages are controlled by contact or exposure to Hexygon. If you would like to purchase Avid please let us know. We are able to special order this product for you.
