5 of 5 Stars  Hate Fleas!
By Martin in Camp Creek, WV on August 12, 2012

We were having a very annoying flea problem in our yard. My son could just walk in the yard and the fleas would be on his legs! I wanted to use Permethrin outside but was a little uncertain what type of permethrin product to buy. I read the literature and was sure that this was what I needed. I mixed the the Hi-Yield 38 according to the labeled directions adding NyGuard to the solution, and sprayed the lawn. Thank God we haven't seen any more fleas in our yard. I've got a happy wife!

5 of 5 Stars  The best product out there.
By Genene in Pleasanton, Texas on September 22, 2013

My husband is a builder and he uses this to treat the soil around the building and dirt prior to foundation being poured and then again after the construction is complete. Once our customers see the results of all the dead insects, they ask where they can purchase the product for future use to keep insect population under control. GREAT products. Dealing with DoMyOwnPestControl.com has been a very good experience. Will purchase from them again !

    August 21, 2013

My extension agent suggested Hi-Yield 38 to control Zimmerman Moths in my Austrian Pine. Couldn't find it locally so found DoMyOwnPestControl on-line. Site was easy to navigate. My package arrived in a very short time. While the bottle seemed expensive, it only requires a tiny amount. I won't know the results until Spring but so far I am completely satisfied with the product and the web site.

January 16, 2015 Carriemiller1213 from Ca asked:

QGophers, will this get rid of them without harming??
Hello; I am trying to humanely rid my yard of a gopher. I don't want to kill him, just make him leave. A friend told me to use this product He stated they hate it and will leave Can you please tell me if this is correct and safe??

A Hi-Yield 38-Plus Insect Control - 38% Permethrin is an insecticide. This will not be effective for gophers. We would recommend using a repellent, such as Holy Moley Organic Mole Repellent. It is labeled for gophers, as well as various other burrowing animals. This concentrated formula repels animals through taste and smell by granules with castor oil as the active ingredient. Holy Moley can be applied with a standard broadcast spreader and is effective for up to six weeks.

September 21, 2014 Mike from Maryville Tennessee asked:

QCan I spray Hi-Yield 38 Plus on my deer hunting clothes?
And if so, how much would I mix to a 1 gallon spray bottle to equal .05 percent of Permethrin to effectively kill seed ticks which are much worse than chiggers that may be trying to invade my cloths and get to my skin.

A Hi-Yield 38 Plus is only labeled for treating the exterior of the structure. It should NOT be applied to any type of clothing or anything that touches the skin for any insect control including ticks.

We do carry Tick Block which contains permethrin that can be used to treat clothing only.
