Hate Fleas!
By Martin on 08/12/2012
We were having a very annoying flea problem in our yard. My son could just walk in the yard and the fleas would be on his legs! I wanted to use Permethrin outside but was a little uncertain what type of permethrin product to buy. I read the literature and was sure that this was what I needed. I mixed the the Hi-Yield 38 according to the labeled directions adding NyGuard to the solution, and sprayed the lawn. Thank God we haven't seen any more fleas in our yard. I've got a happy wife!

Used for Log Home carpenter bee drilling
By Rick on 04/20/2012
Great product! Used for about 5 years now on our log home and the bees do not drill once you spray. Mix 1.6 ounces per gallon and treat once you begin to see bees appear in early spring. DoMyOwnPestControl has the best prices, especially if you purchase a gallon. Great folks to deal with...Very fast shipping also!

Stops the bugs
By Ken on 07/12/2011
Hi-Yield 38 Plus Insect Control is only labeled for outdoor use. DO NOT use it as a dip for your dog. If you are looking for a good product to apply directly to your dog, consider Petcor or the other products we carry labeled for use directly on animals.

Hi-Yield 38-Plus Insect Control is not labeled for any type of parasite. We apologize, but we do not carry anything for treating lawns for parasites. Treating your dog as recommended by your vet is best.
Once dry, Hi Yield 38 Plus will not be harmful to your dog if they eat the grass that was sprayed. The small amount of active ingredient that is left behind is only enough to harm a small insect and would have to be ingested in large quantities to harm a dog.

My dog tends to eat grass when her stomach is upset. Also she will lick her paws and I don't want her licking or eating grass that has been treated is that an issue? Also once it drys and becomes wet or moist can she lay in the grass with no issues?

Hi-Yield 38-Plus Insect Control 38% Permethrin cannot be applied to pets. Martin’s Flee would be a better option.
Yes, Hi-Yield 38-Plus Insect Control - 38% Permethrin can be used in dog lots for fire ants. It is recommended that you keep pets out of the area while you are doing the treatment. Once the product has dried completely, it is safe for pets to return to the area.

I haven't sprayed yet, just wanted to know before i do because I know they do chomp at the grass sometimes. Thanks
After dilution Hi-Yield 38-Plus Insect Control - 38% Permethrin only possesses a large enough amount of active ingredient to kill small insects. After the area has dried it should not harm your pets. As long as they are not "grazing" like a horse would, there should be no threat. You can refer to the MSDS for toxicology information about 38-Plus.
