Fantastic Service
By Janet on September 4, 2012I am thrilled with the service from "DoMyOwnPestControl". I needed something for chinch that I could have shipped to N.Y. This product was suggested by a company representative, and it was shipped immediately. Unfortunately, the day after I applied it, there was heavy, heavy rain (for the first time all summer, wouldn't you know). Hopefully there will still be some effect on the chinch bugs. Their damage this year was extensive. I will be ordering all my pest control products from this company from now on. Fast, efficient, helpful service!

April 26, 2011Miguel asked:
QIs it necessary to water the lawn after applying the dry granules to a lawn (as w/ regular lawn fertilizer)?
AThe product label says: Irrigation or watering by 0.1 to 0.5 inches immediately after application generally improves the effectiveness of this product. We also agree that watering after application will increase results you see much quicker.
June 3, 2011Cecilia asked:
QHow long does Bug Blaster take to dry after using this on my lawn?
I need to know how long to keep my animals inside and off the lawn.
ATypically depending on how hot it is, it usually takes liquid applications 30 minutes to an hour to dry after you apply them. You should keep the pets off for an hour just to be safe, although it will most likely dry well before then in the heat of the summer. Also, these products are only strong enough to kill small insects when diluted with water and applied correctly and should pose no threat to pets.
July 6, 2011P asked:
QHow long before pets can get back on the area treated with Hi-Yield Bug Blaster II?
APeople and animals should stay off of the treated area until the grass is visibly dry. This usually takes 2-3 hours.
April 26, 2012Celeste from Brooksville asked:
QWhat is the difference between Hi-Yield Bug Blaster II Bifenthrin Granules and Bifen LP?
ABoth products share the same active ingredient at the same concentration and the main difference is really the manufacturer, Hi-Yield Bug Blaster II Bifenthrin Granules is made by VPG and Bifen Granules is made by Control Solutions. There are many brands of almost identical products on the market.
April 18, 2012Gina from Callao, Va asked:
QCan I use Bug Blaster II granules around newly planted flowers and strawberries that are producing fruit?
I am trying to kill sow bugs/pill/bugs.
If yes, where can I find your product in Tappahannock , VA?
If no, what product would you suggest?
ABug Blaster II can be used around the flowers but it cannot be used around any edible vegetation. Sevin Insecticide Granules can be used around the strawberry plants to control sow bugs. We are a retailer and we do not know who else might sell the products we carry on our site, though we can tell you that most products we carry are not available in stores. We do however provide fast, FREE shipping right to your door and we would love the opportunity to earn your business.
August 23, 2012Jimmy from Buena Park, Ca asked:
QHow do I apply this product? Is the spreader a necessity?
AYou will need a hand spreader to make sure you are applying the product as recommended on the product label. Other than a spreader there is not really a way to spread the granules evenly using the usage rate on the product label.
