Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone III - 10 lb. bag

Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone III with Imidacloprid is a systemic soil treatment granule to protect turfgrass and landscape ornamentals from grubs, mole crickets, and the larvae of Green June Beetles, Japanese Beetles, Billbugs, European Crane Flies, and more.  Apply Grub Free Zone evenly using a drop-type or rotary-type spreader, then irrigate mechanically or by rainfall within 24 hours of application to release the active ingredient to the plant roots. For best results, apply prior to egg hatch of target pests. A 10-lb bag treats up to 5,500 sq. ft. for mole crickets, or up to 7,000 sq. ft. for listed pest larvae such as Japanese beetles or billbugs. May also be applied prior to the hatching of the first instar nymphs for suppression of chinchbugs. Not for use on commercial sod, turf grown for sale, or in commercial greenhouses or nurseries.

3 of 5 stars  Hi Yield grub free

    Verified Purchase

Applied day after receipt, still have some grubs a couple weeks later. Armadillos are still feasting on them digging up my yard. Grubs in Florida may be immune to this stuff now. I need to find good old liquid chemicals.

QJapanese Beetles
When do I treat, I am tired of loosing my garden each year what is my best attack method....thanks

AYou would need to apply the Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone prior to egg hatching for the Japanese Beetle and this timing can vary from region to region. We recommend you contact your local cooperative extension office to find the best time to apply product for Japanese Beetle Grubs in your area.

QHow do I eradicate any pests that draw armadillos?

AArmadillos will eat grubs, ants, termites, spiders etc. They will also eat plants, some fruit and a variety of other things that can be on the poperty. Eliminating the crawling insects and the insects in the soil will help drive them away if there is not another food source. We also carry a repellent to deter them from the propery once these insects are controlled as well as traps. Please let us know more information about the area that you will be treating including the size and what insects you have noticed so that we can offer you the products that will best fit your needs. We will gladly assist you. We also can be reached at 866-581-7378 M-F 9-5 PM EST.
