TURFGRASS

Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone III is for use on turfgrass in home lawns, business and office complexes, shopping complexes, multi-family residential complexes, golf courses, airports, cemeteries, parks, playgrounds, and athletic fields to control soil inhabiting pests as listed in the table below. Hi-Yield® Grub Free Zone III can also be used for the suppression of Cutworms and Chinch Bugs in turfgrass areas.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Effective control can be achieved when applications are made before or during the egg laying period. The timing of applications can be based on historical monitoring of the site, previous records or experiences, current season adult trapping or other methods. For best control apply prior to egg hatch of the target pests, followed by sufficient irrigation or rainfall to move the active ingredient through the thatch.

NOTE: For optimum control, irrigation or rainfall should occur within 24 hours after application to move the active in-gredient through the thatch. Do not make applications when turfgrass areas are waterlogged or the soil is saturated with water. Adequate distribution of the active ingredient cannot be achieved when these conditions exist. The area to be treated must be able to accept vertical penetration of rainfall or irrigation water. Avoid mowing turf or lawn area until after sufficient irrigation or rainfall has occurred so that uniformity of application will not be affected.

Do not apply more than 80 lb (0.4 lb of active ingredient) per acre per year.

Do not apply this product, by any application method, to Linden, Basewood or other Tilia species.

APPLICATION EQUIPMENT

Apply Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone III uniformly over the area being treated with granular application equipment. Both drop-type and rotary-type spreaders may be used. Do not use spreaders which apply the material in narrow, concentrated bands. Calibrate application equipment prior to use according to the manufacturer’s directions. Check frequently to be sure equipment is working properly and distributing granules uniformly and accurately.

ORNAMENTALS

Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone III can be used as a broadcast application on ornamentals in commercial and residential landscapes.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone III is a systemic product which is translocated upward within the plant system. For best control, follow applications with sufficient mechanical incorporation, irrigation or rainfall to move the active ingredient into the soil. Irrigation or rainfall should occur within 24 hours after application. Apply prior to pest infestation to achieve optimum control.

Apply as a broadcast treatment. Prior to application, remove black plastic or other weed barrier material that will not permit water permeability.

Do not apply more than 80 lb (0.4 lb of active ingredient) per acre per year.

Do not apply this by any application method, to Linden, Basewood or other Tilia species.

    Hi Yield grub free

    By Joe on 04/22/2011

    Verified Purchase

Applied day after receipt, still have some grubs a couple weeks later. Armadillos are still feasting on them digging up my yard. Grubs in Florida may be immune to this stuff now. I need to find good old liquid chemicals.

    Got Grubs?

    By Ray on 07/30/2017

I've been using Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone III for about 10 years to treat our Agave plants. During that time we haven't lost any of the plants. Neighbors have complained they cannot grow the Agave because the grubs keep eating the roots. We have many, some as tall as 6 feet. I have recommended this product to many people because if used correctly I know it works. DoMyOwn offers free shipping and I was pleasantly surprised when I learned they had not increased their price since I bought the last bag a few years ago.
