For example, by reducing the acidity of overly acidic soils certain substances that are toxic to plants are kept from dissolving. Hi-Yield Horticultural Hydrated Lime increases nitrogen fixation in legumes, increases the activity of beneficial soil-based microbes, and increase the availability of certain nutrients such as Molybdenum and Phosphorus to plants. QIs Hi-Yield Horticultural Hydrated Lime fast acting product or does this takes months to work?
I have an acidic garden that I like to make it a little more alkaline for vegetable growing; does this lime dissolves and gets to correct the pH quickly or does it take months to start to have an effect on the soil. Thanks

QWhy would earth box not want you to use this product? They say use only dolimite to sweeten the soil.
AUnfortunately, we are not sure why Earth Box advises again using Hi-Yield Horticultural Hydrated Lime. We recommend you contacting Earth Box.

QIs it same as high calcium hydrated lime?
I need this product for concrete curing tank in the lab and I want to verify it is the same.
