Have used Honcho Plus before, but unable to purchase it locally. Although it is a post-emergent it does an excellent job of keeping our property weed free. Better than Roundup Pro in my opinion. Takes a little longer to kill, but the weeds don't come back. Just follow the mixing directions and be patient.

I have used this herbicide for the last 2 years. It compares very well with RoundUp and at ~1/2 the price.

trying to kill banana plants
By Loraine in Indian Lake Estates, Fl on 11/20/2015
I liked the idea that this would be painted on and would stay on the banana pants to kill the wandering ones. The verdict is still out. Some died and some did not. Reapplied on the ones with no results after cutting them again. We will see. Even though it is a a large container it still is expensive especially with mixed refults.

works good some weeds require stronger mix and a second spraying at two to three weeks after the first.

QHow long do you need to wait in order to plant a garden after using Honcho Plus Herbicide?
How warm does the weather have to be to get a kill on rye?
AAfter using Honcho Herbicide, it is recommended that you wait at least 30 days before planting additional items. We would recommend checking the label specifically because this can change with the time frame in order to plant or harvest. We normally recommend the ground being at least 65 degrees Fahrenheit when using herbicides.
