They seem to nest in the ceiling (wood) and the larva shells drop on the floor, etc. Then the bugs appear. Hundreds. They don't seem to bite but I am really tired of them. They last a couple of months and this has been going on for several years.
Can you possibly try to either take a sample of the pest to a local pest control company for identification or send us a few clear, well lit pictures of the beetles with something next to it for a size reference? Without knowing exactly what the species of beetle is that you are dealing with, we would not be able to make an accurate recommendation based on the information you have given us.
