I want to remove my lawn to switch to edibles. Half of my lawn is nutsedge but I want to kill the grass too - and I want to reduce the health risks on the edibles I will grow in the future. I guess I will have to truck out all the soil and bring in fresh after chemical treatment??
We would recommend using a glyphosate product to kill the nutsedge and grass. It is a non-selective and will kill whatever you spray with it. You can replant after as little as two weeks after applying a glyphosate product.
