I applied Boracare to beams and stair tread with active powder post beetles. I applied two coats and it took about a week to dry. I now have a crystal residue on the unfinished wood. How can I clean the crystal residue so that I can apply the stains and oil finish?
Boracare can create a crystal-like residue if heavily applied. You can wipe the residue away with water and soap.
