Q&A Home

Kisa writes,

How far do you drill the holes from your house when doing a termite treatment?

I do not have a basement or termites but my neighbors house has a terrible termite problem.. We just want to prevent damage to our own house. How far away from the house do i drill the holes? How deep do i drill the holes? and is it 2.4 ounces of Dominion 2L for every 4 gallons of water?

All of the instructions on drilling holes through slabs and drilling trenches are described in our "How To Do A Termite Treatment" article on our Termite Control Page.  When using Dominion 2L, you should mix .6 ounces per gallon of water, or 2.4 oz. per 4 gallons of water.  Four gallons of solutions should be applied every 10 lineal feet in the trench and through the drill holes over 10 feet.
