How long after I apply Ranger Pro can I expect regrowth?

What is the residual period on Ranger Pro? How long after treatment can I expect grass, weeds or brush to grow back? Can I use it on newly cut grass?

Answer:

Ranger Pro will only kill the weeds that are sprayed directly so it will not prevent anything new from growing in the area.  It has a chemical residual in the soil of up to 2 weeks but weeds/grass can start to grow back anytime after if they were not sprayed directly.  Ranger Pro is a non selective herbicide that will kill anything that it is applied to so will kill the grass if you apply to it.  If you are looking to prevent weeds from growing in an area you would need a pre-emergent herbicide depending on the type of weeds if applying in lawns or landscaped areas and do not want to prevent everything.  Or if you want to kill and prevent anything from growing in the area for up to 1 year you would use a vegetation management product.
