Debi writes,

How long does liquid copper fungicide take to kill turf algae and when can I then spread new grass seed over?

How long liquid copper fungicide takes to kill turf algae will depend on how far the turf algae has progressed and how spread out it is.  You should apply this product as soon as the algae is noticed and repeat application every 7 to 10 days until the algae is gone and controlled.  Typically after applying any herbicide product, you should wait 6 to 8 weeks until reseeding.  Please read the product label for specific mixing and treating instructions for treating turf.
