How long should kids and dogs remain out of the house after floors are treated?

I have to treat my entire house floors with Boracare because there are powder post beetles in my barn wood floors on all three floors. I have kids and dogs and am wondering how long they should be out of the house to be super safe.

Answer:

It is recommended that you keep pets and children out of the area treated with Boracare until the product has dried completely and any odor has dissipated.
