You did not state what insect you are treating for so it is hard to give you a proper treatment method. The Bifen I/T is a great general insecticide for indoor and outdoor use. However, like most professional grade insecticide concentrates, it is NOT a contact kill. It is a residual, which is normally what a home owner is looking for to control pest around home. The insects in your area did not get there overnight, or in 5 days, so you can't expect to see the entire population gone in that time frame. Depending on the insect you are trying to eradicate, where the source of them is, and how well established the colony is in your yard, will all depend on how long it will take for you to see the Bifens potency taking affect. You reapply Bifen every 30 days outdoors and 90 indoors.
