How on earth are you able to get good penetration AND coverage of 1000 sq. ft. with ONLY One Gallon of water ?

Is it not customary for 3-5 gallons per 1000 sq. ft. At least most label instructions... So, How on earth, WITH GOOD Faith, give an answer on a Q&A for someone to spray 1000 sq. ft. with ONLY one gallon of water/mix ???

Answer:

We apologize that you are not happy with some of our previous Q&A responses. You can most certainly get adequate coverage with 1 gallon over 1000 sq/ft but it will depend on the turf area being treated. If it takes you 3 gallons of water to cover 1000 sq/ft to get adequate coverage for your specific yard to your liking, then mix the correct amount of product per 1000 sq/ft with 3 gallons of water. The water is purely the carrier and each applicator is going to walk at a different pace, and have equipment that is calibrated differently, and will apply more and less thoroughly than the next. The rule of thumb used by most professionals if it doesn't state an exact amount on the product label, is actually 2 gallons per 1000 sq/ft.
