How should I dilute Permethrin 10% for a tick infestation in the house?

i started to see ticks a week ago, found one on me.but 5 days latter i see few every day. i applied Frontline on my dogs. I also have chinchillas. but pets are free from any ticks, i just didn't find any yet on them. So i bought permethrin already and should receive it tomorrow. What is the ratio for tick treatment? After it dries completely is it safe for all my pets? and with what time intervals i should apply the treatments? One month or 2 weeks?

Answer:

When applying Martins Permethrin 10% indoors, you should use 1.33 oz. per gallon of water. It would be safe for animals to re-enter the area after your application is dry. You can reapply in 2 weeks for heavy infestations or once a month for prevention. We also recommend treating outdoors with the Permethrin concentrate. Please see our Tick Treatment Guide for more tips and information.
