"Your company is wonderful! I was able to buy 2 bags of Talstar for the price of one here near my home. And the no shipping is truly a blessing. Thank you. I will certainly tell all my neighbors about your site."

Do I have a Grub Problem?

The most obvious signs of a grub problem are dead grass, dead flowers, and dead plants. To be sure, you can dig up the earth under the damage to 6 inches, looking for fat, white, "C" shaped worms with a tan head and many legs.

Why pest control operators and homeowners love Merit for Grub Control:

1
. Systematic Action -Once the poison penetrates the soil it is automatically soaked up by the roots of plants and grass. The grubs will then ingest the pesticide when they go to nibble on your lawn.

2. Season-long Residual- Merit Granular is the longest lasting broad-spectrum grub control product on the market, offering up to 4 months of protection in ideal conditions.

3. Broad Spectrum & Reputation. Merit Granules holds a ten-year record of 90% effectiveness on virtually every species of turf and ornamental pests.

When should I apply Merit?

You will see the best results when Merit insecticide is applied just before or just after egg lay. This is usually between early July and late August. Results have also been positive when two applications are made: one in late Spring, and one in late Summer/early Fall.

How to apply Merit Granules

-Application rate for white grub larvae is 1.4 to 1.8 lb per square feet.
-Apply as a broadcast treatment, using a drop or rotary type granule spreader (refer to product label for specific spreader settings).
-Prior to application, remove black plastic or other weed barrier material that would block water permeability.
-If possible, repeat granule and liquid insecticide treatments twice a year for 1 year, and then follow-up with granule treatments alone for an additional year. Since grubs hatch at different times throughout the year, this 2 year schedule will insure the most thorough elimination.

Merit WP
Merit insecticide is also available in a wettable powder formulation that can be applied with a hose end sprayer.
