How to treat for Female Winged Carpenter Ants

I have been finding 2 to 3 female winged carpenter ants in my daughters room a day for a couple of weeks now. I haven't found any noticeable entry points and no saw dust. There is some wood rot around a window where the previous him owner caulked and painted to try and repair the area. Do you think I might have a nest in the wall or just ants foreaging for food? What would you recommend ?

Answer:

You will need to spray directly into the wall void by drilling small holes in the wall. Other products that work effectively indoors would be Phantom Aerosol or carpenter ant baits like Maxforce Carpenter Ant Bait Gel or Advance Carpenter Ant Bait both of which are sold in our Carpenter Ant Bait Kit #1.
