Q&A Home

Jorge writes,

If a home is already infested with termites, will installing the bait system get rid of them?

No, the baiting system is a preventative treatment and will only intercept new termite colonies coming towards your home.  The baiting system has wood inside it that is what the termites are looking for.  If a termite colony is inside your house and has already found wood, then they have no reason to leave the house to look for more food.  The only reliable way to get termites out of your home is to treat directly with a liquid application.  This is explained in our "How To Do A Termite Treatment" article on our website.
