Amy from Barboursville, Va writes

If Temprid SC was sprayed during a rain break, could it hurt my animals?

The rain had stopped, the chemical was applied and it rained about an hour later. Now I have a dead chicken and a dog seeming to have an allergic reaction to something.

Answer:

It is recommended that you keep pets out of the area when Temprid SC is wet. Once it is dry, it is rainfast and does not reactivate when it gets wet. If the product did not have time to dry before it rained, the effectiveness will decrease.  With regards to the animals, we would recommend contacting your vet and/or poison control if they are displaying unusual symptoms.
