    Which one is more effective on German roaches, Invict AB Paste or Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel?
    I had the opportunity to buy Invict Gold- 300gr but I lost product cause is more difficult to admin . I am trying to save money. I used to buy Invict 5x tubes for $28. And now there are 4 in the box and more expensive? I wonder if Invict AB x 5 tubes is equally effective on German roach and ants ? Please let me know. I had been customer for many years. Please tell me how can I save with baits for German roaches and ants ? Thank you for your feed back.

    Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel is specially formulated for German Roaches with its active ingredient Imidacloprid to rapidly control even the most bait adverse German Roaches. With that being said, Invict Gold would work best for a German Roach issue, but may not do much to control your ant population because it is ONLY labled for German Roaches. On the Contrary, the Invict AB Insect Paste is an insect bait that is labeled for Ants, Roaches, and Silverfish. Using both products as part of a bait rotation plan would be very beneficial as you would be able to use the Invict AB Insect Paste for both the Ants and Roaches and it is sold 5x 35 gram tubes for $34.65, and in areas that are more heavily infested with German Roaches, you would be best served using the Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel, as this comes in a 35 gram tube for $12.95 and will give you a faster clean out of those German Roaches.

    Does Invict Gold have a shelf life?
    How long can unopened tubes be stored? I have read that opened tubes should be used within a year, but what about sealed tubes? does the product lose efficacy or potency over time? Is there a German roach bait with longer shelf life?

    The shelf life of Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel is 1 year once it has been opened. If the product is unopened, the shelf life is 3 years.

    How long to replace the bait?
    I heard that we must replace the bait as it becomes hard since the roaches won't eat it. Is this true? If so, how long does the bait last after been applied? Also, what would is suggested to treat the heaters? I saw some german roaches walking on my living room and I think they are coming from the heaters. Thanks!

    Roach gel should only be applied when there is an active problem. The gel will still work when it is hard, although it will be less effective. It works better when it is soft. Per the label, do not apply to surfaces that are about 130 degrees because the bait could melt and drip.

    How often do you use Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel?
    I have roaches mainly in kitchen and bathroom. This has worked GREAT. I need to know how often to repeat the process. Every 30 days ect.

    There really is no specified period of time that you would need to wait to reapply the Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel. Inspect bait placements periodically (about once a week) and reapply if the bait has been eaten or has hardened. You should also reapply the bait if it has been contaminated with cleaners or other insecticides.

    Do I need a bait gun to apply Invict Roach Bait Gel?
    It is recommended that a Masterline Professional Bait Gun be purchased to apply Invict Roach Bait Gel. Is this necessary? Does the bait gel have a plunger?

    A Masterline Bait Gun is not required to apply Invict Roach Bait Gel. Each Invict Roach Bait Gel order will come with one plunger to help you apply the gel. The Masterline Bait Gun is a helpful tool if you will be applying roach bait gel often.

    Would I need to put some Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel downstairs too?
    My house is a 2 story and roaches are in the upstairs kitchen area only. There is nothing down stairs.

    It sounds like you have German roaches.  They are usually the ones most often found in kitchen and bathrooms.  If you have not seen any roaches downstairs then you do not have to treat downstairs.  The problem is mainly in your kitchen and that is where you should concentrate placing the Invict Gold Roach Gel.

    Can the Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel be used in the same area as the Tekko Pro?
    How would you suggest using these two products together; would the bait still attract the roaches if it was placed in an area recently treated with Tekko pro? How about vice versa? Bait being put down first then treating area with Tekko?

    You can use an insect growth regulator sprays like Tekko Pro and a bait like Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel? in the same room at the same time, just not on the same surfaces.  The rule of thumb is spray low (areas like baseboards, kick plates below cabinets, and under appliances) and bait high (in areas like inside cabinets and drawers and up higher near small appliances such as microwaves, toasters and coffee pots).  Please take a moment to look over our Roach Control Guide for more information on treating and preventing a roach infestation.

    Does Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel kill ants?
    does invict coacorach gel also kill ants as i have a box that i haven't used but now have an ant pro

    While it is possible that if an ant were to eat the bait they would die from it, and they likely would be attracted to the food based ingredients within the bait, we can not tell you for certain if that would work for your needs. Also keep in mind when treating for ants, they need multiple types of nutritional needs they are looking for, so even if the bait gel is attractive to them its a sugar bait, and they may need a protein bait which would be in a granule bait like Advance 375A Ant Bait.

    Can one use a regular caulk gun that you would use to caulk with or is a really small caulk gun used to dispense the bait?

    Can the roaches become immune to Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel ?
    When I first applied it I saw drastic results within about 2 weeks. But after about 2 to 3 months I started seeing them again, so I reapplied it and it seems like it's not working. What should I do?

    Roaches can develop a resistance to Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel or any other bait if exposed to it them for a long period of time.  It is recommended that you rotate every 3-4 months between baits with different active ingredients to prevent this.  Something like the MaxForce Impact would be a good option.

    Is Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel strictly an indoor bait?
    the majority of my problem seems to be outside and in my unfinsihed garage and wonder if this would be appropriate or would you suggest something else?

    Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel is preferred to be apply indoors. For the unfinished garage we recommend Temprid.  Temprid SC (suspension concentrate) insecticide offers a unique dual mode of action by combining two powerful and effective residual insecticides: beta-cyfluthrin and imidacloprid. Also, to mix in Tekko Pro which will break down the reproductive cycle.

    Will Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel product also kill Palmetto bugs (American Roaches)?

    Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel is only for German Roaches, it would not attract Palmetto Bugs. Please visit our Palmetto Bug Control Page. We recommend to use a product called Phantom.
    Phantom is an indoor/outdoor termiticide and insecticide that kills termites, ants, cockroaches, and now bed bugs, through a powerful non-repellent active ingredient. Pests can't even detect Phantom, so they walk right over it and then spread it to other insects hidden behind walls or in their home colony, killing every other pest they come in contact with

    Will a regular bought from the hardware store caulk gun work on the invict tubes?

    Caulking guns are much larger than the bait guns designed to work with the bait gel tubes. A gun is not required to utilize the tubes as they come with plastic plungers to put in the back and push the product out. We are unaware if any hardware stores carry guns that are small enough and designed to handle bait tubes.

    On your Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel product page, it says "use in conjunction with a roach bait." What product would you recommend I use with this?

    On the Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel product page, it states rotating this product with a roach bait you are currently using is a good way to avoid bait aversion and maximize your german roach control program. This is simply stating you can stop using another roach bait gel and use this in its place to avoid roaches becoming resistant. We recommend using one of our Roach Control Kits so that you will have everything necessary to completely eradicate a roach infestation. You may also want to take a look at our Roach Control Guide for tips on how to do a complete treatment.

    I was using Advion gel bait and find it's not having an effect on the roaches anymore. Why is this?

    It is best to rotate professional baits every 3-4 months and perform non-chemical efforts (reduction of moisture/water and food souces, etc) We would recommend our New York Roach Control Kit Rotation A, as it normally takes more than one product to completely eradicate a roach infestation.  This kit is ideal for beginning or cleanout treatments of cockroach infestations in apartments and homes.  It would also be a good idea to take a look at our Roach Control Guide for more information and tips on treating and preventing this pest.

    The manufacture date is not displayed on the Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel tube. The batch code, however, is located on the inside flap of the cardboard box it came in.

    Will Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel kill bed bugs?
    Family brought bed bugs home from vacation and has tried everything to get rid of them. I use Invict in my apartment for roaches and it works good and need a product to get rid of the bed bugs

    Invict Gold Bait Gel is not labeled for bed bugs. This product is labeled for German roaches only. If bedbugs have been found in the home you will want to follow our detailed bedbug guide which will take you through each step necessary to completely eliminate the population. As you go through the guide linked below you will see the non chemical steps (such as washing and drying clothes and linens) as well as chemical steps including where and how to use each product. Our Bed Bug kits are the best route to make sure you are using the best products on the market and without breaking the bank.
